"Oh so you are finally awake little girl ! ." upon hearing the familiar voice Meng Cheng jolted with surprise and turned her head towards the direction of the voice only to see a dashing old man in his sixties walking in her direction. She asked her little companion to head into the house first. ," Meng Cheng pays respect to Governor Wu . May I ask what brings you here today?" Meng Cheng bowed in respect " Didn't I told you to drop the honorifics ? Its embarrassing. " he said while ruffling her head. She chuckled for the first time in a while. " Here you go the medicine, food , bandages ,clothing and the necessities you need.Also during my trip to the Huang empire I bought a few books you may need. " he said while giving her a big bag. Meng Cheng widened her eyes in surprise and look at governor Wu and asked ," Can I really take this?" "I do not see any reason why I would object you from taking these. " he said winking. " As thanks why not give me a ... " without saying any further Meng Cheng hugged Governor Wu without further hesitation but her eyes were grim without a trace of liveniness. " Ha, don't be too excited little girl your wound is still healing." Meng Cheng just laughed it off eyes still dead. Governor Wu then looked around, upon hearing soldiers marching sound he said quickly , " I need to go , take care of yourself and remember you need to hide those things that I gave you." With that he walked away briskly. She stood there in the snow until his gone. " If you had not died..." with that she returned to her house.
