Kapitel 1: The Bet 1

As I stepped my way through the forest, I stepped on a branch. My heart was pounding, so much that ,I felt its beats reverberating through the forest.

As I approached the centre of the dark forest, I heard a wolf cry. I Began weeping and running towards the direction, I previously entered over here. I tripped on a tree root. Without thinking I jumped back to my feet and began limping. I began reminiscing all that happened yesterday night...

"Nat, Oh common! You needed money right?! This is a chance to prove yourself to your step Mom! " Said Eva. She was my best friend. And I seemed to always believe her.

"Eva, I understand..But Ryan won't. He won't bear to see me hurt!" I said. Ryan was my boyfriend. And I loved him. I knew he loved me too. But it was just that we have never kissed or even showed much affection near our friends!

"Why do you even care so much about him?! Is he more important than your Mom?! " she cried.

"Stop it, Eva. I'll go. " I said.

Well, she had succeeded in her plans, I suppose.

I wanted to tell Ryan about it. But she stopped me asking me to keep it a secret and that I was doing it for my step mom.

And so, I packed up a pair of clothes, some chips and a few fruits.

Next early morning, I set out for the scary adventure. All alone.

And here I am. Still limping. My head head hurt. I needed a break. However, wolf howls were approaching towards me at a faster rate. I was scared. I tried to run faster only to see a pack of wolves surrounding me. They needed my flesh, to quench their hunger.

One of them caught speed and launched itself upon me. I wished I had more time to live...

I closed my eyes waiting for the impending death. But nothing happened. I opened my eyes only to see a tall guy standing in front of me.

Weird, I thought.

Then I saw the massacre. All the wolves were dead. Torn. I looked at the scary guy, who was the one to might have saved my life.

He turned to face me. I gasped. He was more than handsome. His red eyes, seductive. His flush pink lips. His clear face. The moonlight however, highlighted his features. He looked like a god, descended right from heavens..

And I kept staring at him, foolishly...
