It was difficult to look at her, especially when her skin had a soft glow on it that was not the result of anything he had done. 

It was hard to look at her standing when he knew that her stomach was going to enlarge itself with the baby of someone else.

Someone who she was not married to. Someone that was not him. 

Someone that Salvatore had yearning to kill. 

He hated the fact that their honeymoon had lasted merely awake and there was nothing that could bring them back now. 

Fuck, he cursed and threw back the drink that he was holding in his hand. He needed more alcohol in his system if he was going to get through this.

Staying in one house with Evelyn not being able to reach her anytime he wanted, was a real hassle. 

He always wanted her within his reach and now that she was she seemed to be so far away. Salvatore could not bring himself to touch her knowing that she had something inside her that belonged to another man.
