Kapitel 3: Mom or just Radhika?
I bought some chocolates and a comic book . Everytime I visit her, I took these two things for sure. These are the things which makes her happy and her smile is enough to make my day.
I entered the rehab and request the receptionist to meet to the doctor. She makes a call and signaled me to an office.I followed her directions and entered an office. As I entered he smiled and I wished him.
I asked him about how my mom is doing. He responded - "she is doing great, but due to that shock she had lost her memory, we can't say anything about that. But overall, she is responding well to the medications. "
I thanked him and moved out to see my mamma. When I entered the room she was reading marvel's comic. Her wheatish skin, dark brown hair, grey eyes are still having the same charm. One can easily guess about why Max Williams fall in love with her. Feeling one's presence she raised her head to look for. After seeing me she smiled at me - "Jessie!! you are here. It's good to see you again. Have you brought my chocolate? "
I sighed and try to smile - "Of course Radhika, how can I ever forget to bring them." I give her chocolates and sit beside her. She don't talk too much. Just hello, Hii, how are you??. nothing else but even the silence with her company gives warmth to my heart, peace to my mind. I stay there for more time.. no one said anything. She continues reading while I was just glaring at her.
Time flew away, I checked my watch it's 2 in noon .Then I realized that I was sitting there for hours .I get up to leave. I gave her new comic book and turn to leave.
"Jessie "-shouted she. I turned back and she hugged me tightly and said -"Thanks for everything , you are my best and only friend " and tears start shedding from my eyes. Without looking at her, I ran to leave.
As I get in my car, I wipe off my tears and console my heart that one day you will surely call her mom instead of Radhika. Distracting my mind from her thoughts I realized that I had enough time so I went to nearby restaurant to feed my tummy. I like Indian cuisine more than others. I went to Kake da Dhabha and odered for Rajma-rice. I still wonder that how Indians manage to make such delicious food. After satisfying my appetite I drove back to my apartment.
