Vol 1: Ch 15 - I like you, I love you but it's too late

After listening to him, Rei just looking down and lowering her head because she doesn't know what will the best thing she will do or say to him. She heard Vin steps and walking away from her. She urges not to cry but she can't control her emotions anymore after hearing three steps from him she called him right away and stopping him without hesitation.

"Vin"

Vin heard her but in order to not getting his hope high, he didn't stop and pretend he didn't hear anything from Rei at all.

Rei knows that he didn't stop at all, she looks up and her eyes looking at Vin so she called his complete name with a sad tone "RO VIN" meanwhile Vin notices her voice crack and stop for a while but then continued his steps and suddenly he feels something from his back.

Rei glad when he stops but then suddenly feel gloomy when he continued his steps, without hesitation she got up and give him a back hug while explaining to him. For this moment she doesn't care what Xue heard and witness with her two eyes after all it will be last time for sure, at least she will not regret it later and just tell him everything of what she feels right now.

"I didn't wear any dress because I thought it was just a simple meeting up for us. I just got out from work and didn't bother to change because I was looking and wondering where Xue might be; you heard it right when Xue's mom talking with me since I didn't hang up the phone call with you that time. I even forget my lunch because I was worried about her. During our high school days, I teased you about your crush because I want to hear that you will say it's me. During Valentine's Day, I explained to you right away about Aru and the reason for my joining of the organization in order for you not to be misunderstood anything. I didn't contact or give any message to you because I was afraid, afraid that I will be got rejected and will realize that's it's only my thinking. I congratulate you about you're girlfriend's because I don't want you to know what I really feel and ask how long you're dating and hoping that you will be breaking up soon or you didn't date for long. Then last time I ask you that one because I thought you only see me as a friend. I already accepted the fact, that you're only treating me as a friend. And now after hearing your confession, I'm really glad to hear it but I don't know what I'm going to do anymore." Rei stop then cried silently at Vin's back. Rei feels that Vin moving around. "Stop, just stay like that." Vin stops moving then both of them continued crying.

Rei calming down a little bit then continue.

"You know already that this is me that you're talking about; I'm only like to wear very simple, so don't ever expect me to wear like what Xue wear's because that's not me at all."

"Rei, talk to me face to face"

"No, just stay like that Vin" pause for a moment then continued.

"You might not know this Vin but I like you and I love you but it's too late. I know that I need to fight you back but that lady is my best friend. I don't care something happened between the two of you but we're talking about a baby right now. Even we still don't know and confirm if she's really pregnant or not but then why do I have a feeling that Xue is really pregnant? I want to fight fair and square but I have no right because you're not my boyfriend while Xue already has two, becoming yours and bearing your future child Vin. Even you did it without love; you still have the baby in the end."

"What if you're wrong Rei? What if she's not pregnant with my baby?"

"If I'm wrong then find me and I will become truly yours. To tell you the truth, after 7 days you will already know if she's pregnant with your child but I will give you one month Vin, if she's not pregnant I will welcome you with my both arms open and if she's pregnant our love will become into nothing, I can't fight it back because the baby is innocent." Rei stops hugging and looks where Xue hiding is then said to her. Vin just standing there in a daze but still observe the two.

"Xue I know you are there so stop hiding anymore"

Standing and calling her name guilty because if she didn't interfere with both of them they will become a couple but she can't just sit around and watch them without doing anything.

"Rei"

"For now Xue, please take care of Vin on my behalf and don't use any underhanded method. Just make sure you're really pregnant with Vin's child. You might not know but I have a ways to monitor you."

"What? Where and why?"

"What? A Live Footage of monitoring you. Where? It's a secret. And why? It's because you did the same thing with me but not having live footage but you already awe me many things you know. You're my best friend but if you want to fight with me then I will fight with you back but it is already too late for me if you're really pregnant."

"So you want to fight with me then go ahead, I, Meng Xue will not be afraid of anyone because I'm a Meng, so I won't be afraid the likes of you Rei because you're just a commoner."

"You don't believe me that I have many ways to monitor you, do you?"

"Of course, who do you think you are?"

"Nothing if compared to you, but both of us knows who is who."

Hearing this, Vin comes back to his senses and anticipating it because Rei is now fighting for him even if it only lasts for a month.

"Rei"

"Sorry Vin, it's too late for me now but I will try at least."

"The two of you, I don't want both of you to have a happy ending. Let's see if you see this....."

Rei cut her off..... "If you're talking about the kissing picture, I don't mind."

Both Vin and Xue's jaw dropped but then Rei continues what she's going to say.

"If you're talking about Vin sucking something and while you having your monologue, then I don't mind and you're reputation will be the one who will be affected not mine. Vin will not because he got rape by you after all."

Again Vin and Xue's jaw dropped but Rei still didn't stop.

"Ah, I forgot that you still have it and hold a big one, right Xue?"

"What?"

"Based on what Vin wearing today, maybe that kissing picture just happens today and since both of you smell something awful today it might also happen today. So showing that videos of your intimate scene will not affect to me but if you Xue already expecting and having a child, then it's my loss."

"V..... videos and what kind of videos?" Asked because he doesn't know even he just pretending to sleep during that time and didn't notice that Xue is taking a video after all he thought that Xue only taking a picture and others only her acts.

Noticing Vin's reactions, Rei realizes "oh, so Vin didn't know of it. How sly of you Xue, you're already using underhanded one."

"You? How did you know all of that?"

"I told you, did I? For now I'm allowed you to live in the same place with Vin but don't sleep beside him or try to have intimate with him just to get pregnant, don't even try it, I have ways on how to monitor you, if you ever do it, please expect me that I will be there right away."

"You idiot, how dare you to do this to me, are you really my best friend?"

"Same with you Xue, are you really treating me as your best friend? Ah, by the way, I put 4 boxes to your unit."

"4.... 4 boxes and what is it?"

"Don't be scared Xue, it's not a bomb, who do you think me as for, a terrorist? It's not a bomb; it's my gift for your birthday for these 4 years since you cut all ties with me and blocking me after all."

"For now just take care of Vin for me, I'm going now since it's already dark outside"
