Kapitel 18: Heart attack

I know what to do now thought Lilith, She and Adrian walked home side by side, he kept on talking but she was silent listening.

Her head was hung down, looking at the ground she thought to herself why is my hands sweating, my face is burning up and my heart won't stop racing whenever I am around him.

" What happened to you, why are you so silent these days you didn't even punch me anymore Lilith.... Lilith.. are you even listening " said Adrian patting her shoulders.

She broke out of her thought and looked up at Adrian " Has Adrian been this handsome " thought Lilith " Lilith... Lilith... your face is all red has your fever returned " said Adrian putting his hands on her forehead to check her temperature with a worried look.

Lilith you must be really sick thinking Adrian is handsome she internally screamed in her mind.

Suddenly when a hand touched her forehead she was surprised so she jumped up.

" you are acting very weird these days Lilith... never mind " sigh Adrian. They walked all the way in silence.

Lilith reached her home she just jumped on her bed putting her hand on her chest feeling her heart beating.... badump.... badump... badump... only the sound of her heart beat can be heard in her room. Should I ask someone about this, I think I caught a heart disease thought Lilith staring up at her ceiling. That night she dreamed about Adrian it's was misty she was running away from something there was a cliff ahead but see didn't see it so she fall down she closed her eyes ready to receive impact but felt that someone was holding her, she slowly opened her eyes and saw Adrian carrying her in princess style, All the mist disappear and she could clearly see a bright blue sky and Adrian had wings and was flying he leaned in close to her, there was only a inch distance between their faces, her heart race his face came closer and was touching each other's nose... and ....ring.. ring...ring.. the alarm clock rang she opened her eyes... it was just a dream sigh Lilith " why did I dream a weird dream about him " thought Lilith. I am becoming weird by the second.

At school, " don't think about it.. don't think about it.. don't think about it.. " murmured Lilith " what is there to not think about? " asked Carol " you scared me Carol... it's nothing " " if you have a problem you can always ask me " " well I will do that if I have a problem thanks "

They both walk to their class, classes were like usual, the bell rang for lunch break.

Lilith bumped into Julie and pulled her to the back of the school . " Julie I will give you the answer now " Lilith looked like bullying an innocent girl by pulling her arms leading to a deserted place. " well go ahead " said Julie with a smile.

" Well I don't know about love but I don't want to be married to you " when Julie heard the reply she was laughing " who told you that I want to marry you " said Julie holding her stomach from laughing so hard " Adrian told me that is what lesbians do " said clueless.

" Such an innocent child, I am falling for her more and more ... I don't think it's the right time , I will wait for her to grow up " thought Julie.

" you know what I was just joking don't take it seriously okay " said Julie patting Lilith's head. Lilith was dumbfounded by this moment she had thought how to reply for a whole night all for a joke. She was angry at Julie for making a joke like that.

" will you forgive me Lilith I am so sorry for joking this kind of thing " she ignores her " please... please I'm so sorry " said with puffy watery eyes. Lilith can't resist cute faces so she forgave her.

She walked to her class " hey what were you and Julie doing at the back of school " asked Carol " well it was nothing she was playing a joke on me " Lilith plainly said " what kind of joke " " she confessed to me yesterday but she said it was a joke today laughing "

" You two chatting during class go outside and stand if you don't want to be in class " said the teacher angry.

" Why do I always get punishment " thought Lilith . She and Carol went to stand outside class that both laughed looking at each other.

"It's nice to stand outside, it was getting boring and my butt is hurting from sitting all day " said Carol " Yeah it became boring I hate language class " said Lilith.

The next day at school, " Why is Adrian absent for two days what happened to him is he sick"

thought Lilith worried. She was thinking about him all day at school. When she returned home her dad was at home " Lilith you came back, I have some bad news about your friend Adrian " said Antony.

When she heard his name her heart sank, she was terrified of hearing the next words.

" His father suffered from a heart attack yesterday and was admitted to an intensive care and he had to stay in the hospital for a while for helping his mother who is a mess and I heard exam is coming closer just help him ask his friends about the class notes "

After she heard it was not Adrian who is sick she was a little glad. " okay I will do that dad "said Lilith. She was very worried about Adrian she couldn't stop thinking about him, she prayed his father to be okay. She can't even sleep at all she tossed and turned all night thinking about how Adrian might be feeling.

She wanted to see him so badly to make sure he is alright. In the morning see looked at the mirror and saw dark circles from not sleeping, she was very sleepy now, she didn't know how many hours she slept last night.
