Kapitel 31: Bounty
<<<Skull Island Marine Base>>>
A young marine officer can be seen rushing off in a hurry to the Captain's quarters with bunch of reports in hand. As soon as he reached the office he entered and reported the important piece of information that he just received.
"Captain, there has been an emergency situation on the NorthStar Kingdom. The Royal family was attacked by a group of pirates!!"
The Captain who just received the report was a man of early thirties with muscular build and broad shoulders.
"Was there any casualties among the members of the Royal family?" the Captain asked as he stood up from his desk and started going through the report he just received from the young marine.
"None from the royal family, but lot of the Marine soldiers stationed there were injured."
"Have you identified the pirates behind this?"
"Yes Sir, I have looked into all the information that was gathered and confirmed that it's new group of pirates, And there has been one prior incident with them that we have just received information on too."
The young marine handed over few more papers containing the details of the prior 'incident' to the Captain as he looked through them.
"Oho.. Isn't Rubeck island where that geezer Salazar was at?" asked the Captain with interest.
"Yes sir… The thing is.. Capt.Salazar was murdered recently."
"Wh..What? How is that possible?? That old man was a former member of the World Government's CP9 unit?" exclaimed the Captain.
"Sir, he was killed by someone that we presume to be the Captain of this group of pirates." said the marine "They had attacked the Marine Base there and injured many of the soldiers and killed the Captain manning the Base while stealing one of the ships."
"Why weren't we informed of this sooner??" inquired the Captain as he looked through the photos of the two culprits which were taken during their assault of the base. The photos where those of Nate with arcs of lightning emitting from his eyes and Sasaki with his extremely long sword on his shoulders.
"There has been a delay in the transmission due to the lack of a commander after the death of the previous one, Sir."
"And based on what I see from this image the pirate captain seems to be a devil fruit user." said the Captain as he focused on the seemingly glowing eyes of Nate on the picture.
"Yes sir. It has been confirmed from the reports we received from both the Rubeck Island and NorthStar Kingdom." said the marine "It's some form of lightning devil fruit."
"I see.. And what about rest of the crew?" asked the Captain.
"When they attacked NorthStar they were accompanied by two others." stated the marine as he took out another one of the image which contain the face of Soma and showed it to the captain "This one here is said to have a devil fruit. And their other companion was a women but currently we haven't received any pictures of her.
"Hmm.. Two devil fruit users and one of them is strong enough to take down that Salazar.." mused the captain "They were last sited on NorthStar.., Which means their next destination might be here, last island before the Reverse Mountain."
"Sir, what about their bounties? The King of NorthStar has already ordered to issue a bounty on two of them." asked the marine.
"What did the logistics division decide on?" asked the Captain.
"Bounty for two of their members are higher than usual due to the insistence from NorthStar Kingdom. The Captain of the crew is given a bounty of 60,000,000 and the other crew member with the devil fruit has been assigned with a bounty of 30,000,000. Also based on the reports we received from the Rubeck Island Marine Base, the swordsman has been issued with a bounty of 20,000,000."
"A bounty of over a 100,000,000 for the whole crew... Although the captain of this crew might warrant a high bounty it's still too much." stated the Captain "In the end it won't matter if they reach this island. I will not let any pirate escape my grasp."
"Alert the troops and inform them regarding this new crew of pirates, and have them patrol the island." ordered the Captain "It's likely that their next destination will be this island."
"Yes Sir!! Captain Kong!" saluted the marine officer as he rushed out of the office.
<<<Dawn Pirates>>>
Nate was currently meditating with the help of his ring [Mumazil Ul-Manzil], he was using it's ability to enter his mindscape and train his Haki. Although he has come a long way and has managed to learn all three forms of Haki and even fused them to form his own Eternal Haki, he still feels like the process is bit too forced and he can't seem to maintain it for too long.
Even though mastering all three types of Haki to it's limits would make him a powerhouse, his own unique ability required the fusion of the three and in order to do that much more efficiently he needs to better his usage and mastery of three forms of basic Haki.
As Nate continued to meditate, Rin entered his room waking him up from his trance.
"We will be reaching our next island soon." said Rin with her usual stoic expression. "Few hours at most."
"I thought we were directly sailing to the Reverse Mountain?" asked Nate confused.
"We are. The next island is on the way to it." stated Rin "I just wanted to stop by to pick up some things like the log pose and maps."
"Didn't we already have those from that island we stayed on?"
"Yea.. We do.. But those are old and we don't know if they might be faulty. It's better to get new ones before it becomes troublesome."
"Hmm.. I guess that's true. Alright let's stop by that island and get what ever you need." Said Nate "By the way where are those two?"
"Soma is organizing supplies and food in the kitchen and Sasaki seems to be in the middle of drawing something."
"I see… Speaking of drawing.. It reminded me of something.." said Nate with smile has he stood up and left the room, Rin just silently followed after him.
Nate reached the deck and found Sasaki there focused on drawing something that once he got closer found out to be swallow. It was really well drawn with all the details, with Sasaki still working on the background on the picture. Sasaki noticed Nate and Rin arriving and turned to face them.
"What do you guys think?" Sasaki asked as he pointed at the drawing
"It's really great. You got some real talent in this." praised Nate as he scrutinized the picture while Rin nodded confirming what he said.
"Thanks Nate, Rin. It's one of my hobbies that helps me relax after a session of training."
"If you are this good at drawing then I need you to help with something." said Nate as he raised is head having finished with his observation of the drawing. "I want you draw our Pirate Flag."

Did some small edits in the previous chapters.. Just changed the location from East Blue to North Blue... I had mentioned previously that Nate is from East.. which has been changed to North..
