Due to the Gluttony Monkey's commendable efforts in hunting the Purple-Eyed Foxes, Zhang Che could only reciprocate accordingly. Using the light provided by the bonfire, he started gutting the corpses, cleaning them.

After a good long while cleaning the Purple-Eyed Fox corpses, Zhang Che still had to look for more firewood to add to the fire and watch over the meat, in case he accidentally burned them. From the looks of it, he wouldn't get to call it a day for another hour or two.

"Ai, what a lucky guy you are, meeting such a nice owner like me. Where would you find roasted meat to eat, otherwise? You should count yourself lucky if others didn't roast you instead!" Zhang Che muttered as he worked. Meanwhile, the frisky monkey was looking at the Purple-Eyed Foxes hovering over the fire in anticipation, watching as the golden fats melted into the fire, slowly seeping out of the meat.
