Kapitel 16: You're Welcome

[Jessica's point of view]

I was standing on the right of the door. I had the perfect view of the scene and I was able to analyze everyone's feelings- everyone's movements. Asami was excited yet scared from the responsibility she holds. Loyal was trying his best, in his own way, to support Edward. And Edward was the Edward we all knew when he faced his brother Enzo. He just stood there and had almost no reaction other than standing in his place with no sign of movement.

He was not Edward.

I called him loudly, "HEEEY, Ed? Are you not planning on welcoming your brother... ssss?"

"Do it yourself..."

He replied to me very carelessly and walked his way up the wide branded stairs behind him. "He's going to hide in his room again. Isn't he?" I whispered to myself.

Asami and everyone else in the front hall looked at Edward with strait eyes. They waited for a reaction. Specially Asami, who did not know what kind of relationship did those two brothers had.

I tried my best to take everyone's eyes off Edward.

"SOOO... [awkward] NOW, that we have a new member. Nixon, right? [Nixon Nodded] LEEEeEEEet's CELEBRATE!!!!"

I pushed them all to the next room; the room we had our fun nights in. that room was big, huge and it literally fits all -at that moment - 95 of us.

I was worried about Edward. I bet everyone was, but none of us had the power to face him. Not long later, Asami disappeared too.

..... [Point Change]...

There was no one in the hallway; it was only me. I walked in this hallway for the first time. It was like a never ending maze. I tried searching for Edward's room. I thought it will be easy to find, but it wasn't.

When I say room I mean a room in a full wing. Edward's wing is one of the largest ones in the Golden house. The golden house is alive, it grows, and that day it did with Nixon coming.

It seems like I found his room...

He was laughing...
