Kapitel 201: Seth's final advice

Sebastian was the last student to speak. He revealed his dream to become a chef, especially mastering the French culinary and finally open his restaurant.

Sebastian's dream received recognition and support as well from his classmates. Along with Seth's encouragement, he smiled brightly, taking back his seat.

"Everyone spoke, I guess," Seth declared.

All he saw in front of his eyes were his students who are thrilled to face their destiny. Secretly, Seth felt proud of all and satisfied with his decision by having this moment with his students.

With the time has come to do farewell and let the kids enjoy their holidays and upcoming prom, Seth prepared his last piece of advice.

He smiled.

"Fine, guys! Sit straight and listen to me for one last time, will you?" Seth asked.

With his voice not telling them to be silent, the students naturally paid attention to Seth.

"Everyone has their own dream except a few who still don't have an idea, but it is okay."

"Life is meant to be lived and learn. Your dream can stay the same or might change in the future. No matter what, listen to your heart and drive all your hard work towards it, then you will be able to achieve the desired result."

His words embarked on confidence and encouraged everyone.

"Don't be hesitating to voice out your dream to your parents. If they don't support it, then work harder and prove it to them that your decision is correct."

Sparks appeared in all of their eyes.

"You are all still kids, and most of you will become college students, while some might not choose to go to college. Nonetheless, be a responsible citizen and be more human. Society will accept the one who follows the system and ignores or bashes the ones who tend to deviate."

A few frowned, including Giselle. Lillian Grey noticed it; her fist naturally clenched in worry.

Nonetheless, Seth continued.

"However, it is up to 'you.' Do you want to live your life with no regrets or not?" Seth asked.

Everybody nodded their heads in unison.

"Don't lose the passion. Passion is what drives people together," Seth quoted.

"You are not competing in a race. You are given this life to explore and live to your heart's content. As you grow, you gain more experience."

"Be leaders and guide."

"Be courageous and hopeful."

"Smile and be patient."

Seth announced.

"Patience is a must if you want to succeed in life."

"Whatever dream it can be, it will test you, try to break you apart, make you lose your confidence, and even trigger you to quit or give up."

"If you give in, that's the end to you and your dream."

Everyone feared.

"But if you still keep running regardless of the pitfalls, you will make it."

Everyone gleamed.

"The only reason why I want to meet you all today is for this. I don't know about others. But you guys are a bunch of notorious ones, not that I've never seen in my life, but I want all of you to follow the path that you choose and make it happen."

"Live your life."

"There is a lot of meaning behind it. Maybe you don't understand it now, but you will later."

Seth finally poured out all of his feelings.

Sensing that his speech ended, everyone became emotional.

..

"Mr. Seth, We will miss you very much," the girls started bawling together while the guys remained mute.

"Looks like only you girls will miss me, not hating on it, but-" Seth staggered.

"Mr. Seth, You are the coolest guy," the guys exploded.

"That's what I like to hear."

Seth laughed.

Soon, everyone departed for the day.

Filled with sentiments, the students dragged themselves with every step, refusing to leave the campus.

One such group amongst all was the trio. Giselle visited the restroom, and so was not present with them.

"Who knew that Mr. Seth would attack us emotionally like that?" Anna peered for fresh air.

"I never thought Mr. Seth is capable of doing such things!" Diego remarked.

"Alright, see you guys later, my brain is mushy from all that happenings. Let's go, Diego," Anna said and urged Diego to leave.

Diego blinked all the while, never averting his vision away from Lillian Grey. Hearing Anna, he signals her to wait for a minute and then approached Lillian.

"Hey, Lilly," Diego spoke.

"Hey, Diego," Lillian greeted back.

It sure felt different than the last time when they parted after the final exam. Diego was nervous. Only a day passed after he asked out Lillian to the prom, and they are meeting today. All this time, Diego was only able to reach out to her via text messages, and Lillian sounded blunt in every response.

Diego seemed a little tense, and so he was cautious, not wanting to stir up any new trouble. Nonetheless, now is the only chance they can meet before the prom. Hence, Diego made sure to learn that if Lillian Grey was doing well or not.

"So, how are you doing?" he asked.

"Good," Lillian responded.

Attacked with the same blunt answer, Diego sulked.

For a while, none of them spoke anything until Lillian thought that her actions were a little harsh to her best friend.

"I'm sorry, Diego. I spent all of my energy for the finals, only so I feel tired and down. You don't need to worry," Lillian assured.

Diego's face raised to see Lillian's faint smile.

"Are you sure?" Diego winced.

"You are not feeling down because I asked you to the prom?" he asked hurriedly.

..

'Snap!' – Diego cursed within.

He did not mean to expose his inner feelings like that. Grunting mentally, he tried to maintain a composed look on his face without letting it get distorted.

Lillian Grey did not expect to get hit with such a remark. She scratched her head in discomfort, "Diego, what makes you think like that?"

"No- I'm-"

Before Diego could finish completing his sentence, Lillian Grey resumed talking.

"It has to do nothing with you asking me to the prom. So, don't assume yourself and stress it."

"I told you, right? I am not well since I spent so much time studying. Don't worry and try to look handsome for me that night, will you?" Lillian coaxed, easing him out from his stress.

"Promise?" he insisted.

Lillian took his hand and made a pinky promise with Diego.

"Got it? Now leave, Anna is waiting for you," she signaled.

"You are not going home?" Diego asked worriedly.

"Soon," Lillian replied as she glanced around the campus carelessly.

"Alright, take care. Don't' stress too much. Also, if you need any help with the dress, let me know," Diego pointed out.

"What dress?"

"Dress for prom, I know for sure you don't own an outfit for an event like that, so you need to buy one, right?" Diego informed her.

'Ah, Prom dress!' – Lillian thought.

"I'm aware of the dress thing,"

"I will take care of it, now go," Lillian quickly chased both of her friends out and waited near the school gate.
