Kapitel 16: Failure Leads to Success 2

He gained another two Ppts added to his 13 left, he bought 15 bags of peanut seeds, and store inside his bag.
He also visited his ocean pot and look after the chili dragons, from the average of 6 inches, they grow to 10 inches already, they now look like a giant bat, Chivous is 1 foot and 3 inches long, his body is twice thicker than his underlings, its wingspan is 11 inches long, finally grow two little horns that makes him looks like a real dragon.
From time to time, chivous release a red color breath, "Ehh? What is this? The spiciness of the breath could reach 10 meters?"
But that's not what makes his eyes almost pop out of its socket On the ground, hundreds of ants black pepper ants enjoyed the spiciness of the atmosphere around them.

His skin turned black and become dry, he dropped the handful of peppercorns on the ground, but he did not try to scold Chivous. The pepper which is in contact with the breath turned reddish-brown!
"Money, money, where's my money!" He was too excited and did not give too much attention to his burn. He started to smash the ground with his hammer.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Loud noise produced by the hammer resounded in the whole dome, it overlaps the sounds of the rain.
Everyone looks at his direction, but Neil's attention is on the chili dragon on his side, "Those things, I thought they are already extinct. Lucas, what the hell are you?"
"Grandpa? What do you mean?" Della puzzled on his remark.
Neil's face turned ugly, it was full of anger, he clenched his fist and his aura is filled with seriousness, "Those things are called chili dragons, I can still remember what happened thirty years ago, they are very close to humans because of their nature. They love to play, they can protect their so-called masters, and most importantly they're breath help us heat our body when it's winter. But a group of nobles hunts them down to their extinction!"
Della's eyes shone, but she was puzzled. She stared intently to the group of chili dragons and tilted her head, "I can understand why coconut cannon become extinct, destroying the town and damaging cities, and even make the foreign boats sink in the shore! But why chili dragons? It's not like there are no other chili dragons in the world! We are just one nation, and one kingdom, how can they be extinct if they're close to human?"
"There are three types of chili Planteros base on my knowledge, the chili snail, an underwater snail that can be found around the world, they grow a green colored shell that reaches 4 feet in length, the firefly chili, a wild chili that hides itself to humans and never reveal itself, they just have a few sightings of them, and the dragon chili, they are a native chili of this kingdom. We always won against invaders because of them!" Neil replied and gritted his teeth.
Suddenly a crisp voice cut into their conversation, "Back then, the era of farmers and adventurers began, and the war started all over the world. Our kingdom decided not to attack k any country, but that does not mean we won't fight back and defend."
Neil looks at him and shrugged his shoulders, "Redford, what brings you here in the middle of the storm?"
"Haha, I'll tell you later after Lucas is done in his work!"
Hugo, who is in the sideline smile and raised his hands, "Grandpa Neil, is the reason the chili dragons are hunted, is because the person that is killed by the enrage chili dragon... is noble?"
"Yes, some of it, the real reason is, the chili dragons are walls that make an organization to rule some cities and dungeons. "Yes, " Hugo replied seriously, "Now the only thing that confused me is... Why Della could only speak like this whenever Lucas is not around."
"Hiik!"
Bedford touched his chin and smiled teasingly, "You're right, is there something we don't know?"
"Mooh!" Della's face turned red from embarrassment, she stomps on the ground and throws a tantrum, "I hate you all!"

Lucas doesn't know what is happening at the moment and just continue his plan, (Pufufu, I still have a half day to make more pepper! Chivous, I'll reward you tremendously after this! I love you!)

Receive our gift for your return!', Chivous released a crazy amount of red chili breath and covered his body, the breath suddenly turn into silk and formed a cocoon-like existence!
The man is still flowing, the coconut cannons stop giving mana, same to the felines, but the peanut butterflies joined in. The 250 beautiful pairs wing flap and released a dense green mana transferring to the Chivous.
"Wait! Where is this crazy amount of mana came from!?" Lucas also look at the mana, not the green one released by the peanut butterfly, but the mana from underneath the ground! "T-this! They already made a colony overnight?!"
A mound of soil can be seen near the music pot! The black ant peppers finally made a colony! The rush of mana made the red cocoon turned blood red, the silks suddenly melted and rotated, two massive blood red wings spread from the smoke, its span three meters long!
*Xaaaaa! A cry makes the smoke suck in the center. The body of Chivous revealed, its dark red skins, his white scales on his head, and two black horns, and his body which finally long enough to say that, 'this a real dragon!'.
"hoho, " Lucas smiled from ear to ear, "So you can fast forward the evolution with mana? That means, if I fed lots of mana to twenty coconut cannons, the excess mana will be sent to their leader, not only that, once Coco emerges, they will advance to coconut cannon commander! But something's bothering me, why do the planteros decide to help Chivous? If I know what happens, I can help every leader of each horde to advance to their second pace."
The evolution makes him distracted, but when the spicy aroma in the atmosphere grew thicker, he moves quickly and stops them. "Woah! They released too much chili breath! Phew! let me see, this... puhehe! uhohoho! buhaha! Money, money, come to papa!"

"It means... He could still sell black ant pepper even its winter, with the price doubled!" Everyone sucked spicy air on what they discover, "Cough! Cough! The hell, it's spicy!"
"Wahh! G-grandpa, water!"
The girls started to cry, and the boys coughs nonstop, the spiciness lingered on their mouth and decided to leave Lucas to drink.
Lucas just collected every dried peppercorn on the ground. He approached Chivous and took something on his shrink bag, "Here is the first payment, I will give your underlings separated rewards for their work, the next payment will be two after now okay?"
*Xii! Chivous cry in excitement and devour the mana grains raw, without melting in water. It flies around Lucas asking him to play with him, " Haha, kid, I'll play with you once I'm done with the work, for now, we need a stable income to develop our very own kingdom!"
Chivous nodded in agreement, he flew around his underlings to encourage them to work harder.
Lucas took out his remaining 10,000 mana grains and melted it in the water tank, using them as an endless supply to the nature pot's black ant pepper plant, first he fed the chili dragons who deserved to be rewarded. He also waters the peanut butterflies who contributed to Chivous evolution. Then the 20 coconut cannons who likes to accumulate mana, and lastly, he feeds the felines with mana milk.
After making sure everyone is rewarded, he proceed to his work and water the mound of black pepper ants and the black pepper ants plant, minutes later the black pepper ants emerged from the ground and shriek as if shouting on him.
"Oh, sorry, you like your house dry, I forgot!" He slapped his forehead and took out last five wooden containers and fill it with mana water, the black pepper ants notice the dense mana inside the container and immediately inspect it, after securing the water is safe, they shrieked and released a... pheromone? I guess, but the smell of ground pepper spread in the atmosphere. But not a minute past when a swarm of one-inch-long black pepper ants surrounds the container and devoured the water.
*Shrii! The shriek was not loud but he can hear it, they look at the container as if looking for seconds!
"God! You guys are glutton! If this continues, our resources won't last." He said, " Wait, your colony grows overnight because I left the plants unattended. I can let you drink if you provide 50 kilos of peppers!"
The black pepper ants suddenly retreated to the ground and shock him, what the hell? Are they not tempted!? But not long after, a larger swarm of them resurfaced, they are making the hole wider, but that's not all, there's a group of black pepper ant surrounding a larger one, The Queen!
They lead the queen who has the size of a dog! It's beautiful black exoskeleton makes shines like a gem! The queen went straight to the water tank and bite the hose, "Eh? How did they know!? Arg, N-no!"
He tried to stop it but a swarm of ants surrounds him, not biting him though, "Pff, N-no, please stop a hahaha!"
Lucas tried to resist but the swarming army doubled, tickling his whole body. The swarm took three minutes, and Lucas is on his limit, " Haha, aha, ha~, holy sh*t I almost wet my pants! Eh? Eh!? Q-Queen!? Hail the queen!"
The queen devoured until the last drop of mana water from the tank, but! She laid mountains of green peppercorn! He approached the queen, but this time he's not stopped by her underlings, "Huhu, I can see the future, huhu! Since your the leader you deserve a good name! Hmm, you'll be Anton! Ahhk! S-sorry don't bite me. You'll be Anthena."
Lucas kneeled on her front and said seriously, "Black pepper ant queen, Anthena, I am Lucas, let's help each other to become reach!"
*Shriiee!!!
Anthena screech as a sign of agreement, and return to her colony, Lucas smile satisfied, and clenched his first, trembling in excitement.
