Kapitel 39: The Lazy Overseer , The Mad Scientist And The Violent Destroyer ( Part 1 )

Chandra Kush who reached his teacher's side now was a bit disoriented by this talk. He didn't know the Aditya legends. But his teacher was not ignorant of these forecasts. It was also one of the reasons why she chose this route while bringing her disciple to the desert for training and some other things. According to legend, after Brahma created the humans, he assigned ten Prajapatis who were the highest gods then to rule and look after them. But intriguingly enough, the gods god influenced by humans instead of the other way around and revolted against Brahma, their father. Just like the many human kings, they wanted to succeed and take their father's position as the ultimate creator. Brahma created his avenger then and eradicated that first generation Prajapatis. He spared only the tenth and youngest son named Narada who, unable to watch his brothers' corruption, renounced the world and turned into an ascetic. He was also the one who propagated the Brahmin race as the son of Brahma who was on the path of intellectualism and renunciation.

Humans proliferated across earth giving rise to various barbarian races, conquering and killing each other without realising the greater ideal. Brahma too, didn't care, as they were only created as a way to engage his children's gifts. While he didn't anticipate their revolt, now that he had fixed them in their place, he didn't care who ruled the humans anymore. Even if he was irresponsible, who is going to ask him? Who can threaten him in the universe anymore when he divided and conquered those unruly children who ganged up on him? Without the chance to gang up together, they really didn't have the strength to question his actions. So Brahma grew complacent yet again.

Unfortunately, he still forgot about that last one. The avenger he created. That last child he called Rudra, that one had the power to threaten him and all his creation. Even if he was just by himself. In fact, that moody child was averse to being around anyone. It couldn't be helped, the thorn in his father's heart created him in the first place. When he was born, the entire universe was his enemy. Even if he settled the conflicts with his father's help, or more accurately, settled his father's conflicts for him, his personality never changed. He was absolutely unsociable. That is until he got married…

In the human world.

It was again Brahma's fault. Every time he saw this asocial son, he would get antsy thinking about all the power held in that trident of his. The gods directly related to him would piss their pants before coming close to him. Others would still be very wary of him. Even the most levelheaded ones would at most be able to speak a few sentences with him. It was like he was a pile of resentment that no one knew what to do about! And so Brahma let him take a human birth.

He wouldn't lose any memories of himself, of course. Containing such power within, losing a sense of self would be disastrous. But he did allow him to grow up normally since a baby so that he would have a family since birth. Hopefully some brothers, sisters and friends as well, who would all grow up together with him, drawing him out of his shell. Aren't humans cute when they're young? They are irresistibly cute. Brahma's creations each have one ultimate aspect. Horses have their stamina, bulls have their strength, little humans have their cuteness. He could stamp his guarantee for that. Unfortunately for Brahma, the creation hadn't matured yet even after all this while, so he didn't know what the adult human had.

Without disappointing Brahma, the little Rudra who was born as a human baby in a remote mountain village grew up healthily and happily. It was almost as if he had forgotten the previous resentments with his brothers, the intrigues in the god capital in Brahmalok and all the other past enmities. Though he was still aloof from most worldly things, that baleful aura that always surrounded him in the past was not there anymore. His destructive energy had receded deep into him, no longer leaking out at the slightest disturbance. Indeed, if not for all this, why would Rudra become the leader of the Maruts or storm gods in Brahmalok?

Meanwhile, in a grand kingdom where the god's successors from a long time ago still ruled the lands, the mischievous youngest Prajapati from back then made an appearance. This empire was the only one in all the lands which had anything similar to the 'divine sanction' which was prevalent now. As such, all the royals were obsessed with the god kingdom and gods because they had a blood connection with them. Even if this connection thinned out severely over hundreds of generation, they were still real gods! Narada enticed a fair maiden with the tales of a true god who descended from heaven and took a human bi

and agreed to marry her. rth in the remote snowy mountains of Kailasha. The girl was so enamored, she took her repertoire and made a journey to the mountains to meet this god.

Rudra, who was by then a dashing young man, was also equally enamored with her. But, of course, as a purely masculine deity, although he can be charmed by his feminine counterpart, he will not be easily moved. The princess, who was the favorite daughter of the emperor spent many months in the cold wilderness showing her pious affection towards the god. Ultimately Rudra relented

But, of course, Narada's mischief has only now beginning to show. This kid from his father's second generation creations had made him piss himself so many times. How could he easily let him and his wicked old man off?

Rudra who was from a barbaric mountain tribe not only failed to impress his father-in-law even with his status as a god, he was also made unwelcome in the palace after he married off his daughter to him. Of course, Rudra had seen dime a dozen of these arrogant despots in his multitude of brothers. Which one of them wasn't a thousand, a million times more powerful than him? He even directly slayed a half of them. He simply didn't put this human emperor in his eyes. But the same was not the case for the princess who dearly wished for her father's approval.
