For Chief Physician Li, the success of public health programs was even more dependent on the media and reporters.

However, society always expected medical doctors to hold themselves aloof from politics and material pursuits. In old times, experts in medicine always hid in the forest while they treated people. When they entered a big city like Beijing, the reviews on them would be immediately changed.

Chief Physician Li wanted to promote himself, but he did not want to make it too obvious because of his bashfulness, so it was actually very hard for him to put on the act.
