Kapitel 152: Augra 18th - Shadow
Wolf growls as he listens to one of his summons reports as he tells him of Kito's plan. "Are you sure he is searching for his father?"
"Yes, he is getting closer to finding their new base after Kyles death some time ago. We must make hast if we are to save him from Kito and do something tame this new persona of his." The summon reported.
Wolf turned to Arthur as he approached. "What do you think, Arthur, should we save Gotama?"
Arthur nodded at Wolf's question. "Yes, it might benefit us if we save him and allow us to see how efficient we are as a team with all the sacred summons, from armor to weapon shifting on the fly. Plus, we need to think about how we are going to deal with Kito as he will attempt to attack once more."
Wolf agreed as he began to ponder on ideas when Shadow walked over. "I think we should erase your encounter from his memory. That way, we can move more smoothly. As of right now, Kito could blow everything out the window. Especially since he turned Morris into a summon spirit of his own."
Wolf slowly looked up at Shadow as he spoke. "Wait, what happened?"
Shadow stared into Wolf's eyes, "Morris decided to go against you as he did not approve of some of your actions and agreed with Kito on others. Hence, he decided to become his summon. Losing his memories and now is Kito's puppet. He is now known as Tormey. An eagle-like summon that has found Gotama, and if we don't go now, he will be killed for Kito's revenge."
Wolf turned to Arthur as he unsummoned himself. While Wolf walked into the shadows, moving swiftly thru as he entered Gotama's new base undetected. Gotama was ordering men to defend the entrance and asking if they saw the intruder. When he notice Wolf standing in the corner.
"Who are you?!" Gotama ordered.
Wolf fixed his mask as he walked over to Gotama, "A friend, but also the cause of your predicament. The atter is Kito, I talked to him some time ago to recruit him to my cause and gave him a choice to either hunt you down or join me. I was hoping for the latter. But as you can tell, I only caught wind of what is going on now." The sound of the building shaking caught his attention. Gotama looked around as he before he glared at Wolf. "Look, I am the only one who can stop Kito. But need you to know that whatever made him break is on my mind."
Gotama could tell in Wolf's voice he was sincere as he nodded, "Fine, I will let you help, but he is my son, so I will fight alongside you to help where I can. Hopefully, we can fix whatever is going on."
Wolf nodded as Shadow emerged. "We better hurry as Kito is almost here."
Wolf nodded as Kito walked into the room, "Hello, Father, brother." Wolf stiffened as he turned to Kito seeing his expression towards them. "What surprised Wolf? When I heard Shadow's voice, I knew at once who he was. So, with Morris's agreement, he was turned into my puppet just like you turned my brother into one!"
Wolf gripped his hands as Shadow stepped back while Gotama looked at Shadow. "Is this true? Was this summon once my son?"
Wolf nodded, "Yes, but it was on his own terms, knowing that I respect the person they once were. Unlike what Kito is doing with Morris." Wolf answered Gotama as he looked at Shadow. "Shadow get ready as right now I need your help more than ever since I don't have any of my weapons on me."
Shadow turned to Wolf and nodded as he turned into a weapon. Gotama stood in shock as he saw him turn into a halberd. Kito was unfazed as his rage grew evermore. "Now, you are turning him into a weapon! How far will you go, WOLF!"
Kito lunged as Wolf as he readied himself. "SCARLETT! YUKI! KURO! ARTHUR NOW!"
Kito jumped back as the four appeared in separate ways. Gotama stepped back to know very well who these four were as he looked at Wolf in astonishment. "Wolf, was it. Are they really?"
Wolf nodded as they pushed Kito back before turning into armour. Kito stared in disbelief at Wolf's arrogance. He growled before lunging once more.
"Wolf, let me fight! I will be better suited for close corridors!" Arthur called out.
Wolf nodded as Shadow switch to his armour form and Arthur to a long sword. As Kito began to strike down, Wolf was able to block the attack. Kito jumped back as he looked to his father and smiled. The smile sent chills over Gotama to see his son fall this far.
"Hold on, Wolf, I am teleporting us outside!" Gotama screamed as he regained his senses.
Wolf nodded as they teleported outside with Kito in tow. Kito looked around to see that Gotama was winded from the spell. While Wolf stumbled back as he was not used to teleporting. Kito smiled in glee while he charged towards Gotama. Wolf shook his head to see Kito's blade inch closed to Gotama. The world felt as if it was moving slowly. While Gotama looked up at his son as Kito's blade pieced thru his heart. Gotama grunted as Kito grinned in satisfaction.
Wolf called out as his summons rushed froth, grabbing Kito as Gotama fell to his knees. Wolf rushed over as Kito struggled to fend off the swarm of beasts and people as they pinned him down. Wolf went to check of Gotama was still alive but found he was lifeless as he sat on his knees. Wolf turned to the struggling Kito as he moved closer.
"Get these things off me!" Kito howled as Wolf moved his hand over Kito's head. As he pulled off his mask. Kito looked up to see his face. He went pale as he watched Wolf erase his memories of this incident and their encounter that started this.
Wolf held Kito's memories in his hand as they turned into a stone. Shadow turned back into his elven form as he began to cry over his father's death. Knowing it was his fault that this happened. Wolf turned to Shadow and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Shadow, I am sorry, but we need to discuss what we are going to do with Kito's memories?" Wolf looked over as he saw his mask lying beside an unconscious Kito. "Either we destroy them or return them after we regroup with the others. But I want it to be your decision. Not mine, as in life, he is your brother."
Shadow looked over to Wolf's mask and grabbed it. "Once our plan as bore fruit. And the others know who you really are. Then return them as he knows your identity. With this lost information and how the battle here played out, he might reconsider his actions." Shadow shook his head. "But that is wishful thinking. Yet we should bring him back to his room in the Faremin main base."
Wolf nodded as he put away the stone of Kito's memories. "Right then, I will make sure he doesn't wake up until three days. I want Azoth to question him for answers as he will not be able to."
Wolf cast another spell keeping Kito asleep for some time as Gotama's men walked out as Shadow handed him his mask. Wolf but it back on as the men moved in closer. Wolf turned to them and explain who he was and why he was there. The men listened as Shadow turned away. One of the men recognized Shadow as Wolf explain his connection and who he was now. The men accepted Wolf's explanation as they looked at Kito sleeping on the ground. Wolf then told them his plans and what they should do next. The men agreed as they went to convey the others the bad news.
Wolf lifted Kito over his shoulder as he looked to Shadow. "You ready? Because if you need to. You can—"
Shadow shook his head. "No, I have said my piece, besides, I can search for him in the spirit realm and talk to him before he is reincarnated into a new life." He smiled as he walked away from his father's body. "Besides, you need me here and know."
Wolf nodded as they vail walked to Kito's room in the Faremin headquarter. Wolf placed Kito in his bed as Crow walked into the room. Her eye grew wide as Wolf walked into the shadows, disappearing as she rushed to Kito's side. Calling out to him as he lay in a deep sleep.
