Fang sighed as he stared out the window, he felt helpless as he sat in the wheelchair. Dymo walked over to see him staring outside.
"You wish you could walk outside and find Wolf?" Dymo placed down a pot of tea as he poured a cup.
Fang glanced at him before turning his attention back out the window. "Yes, and no. I want to see why Wolf is sending Zero and me to Fevermore? What does he have planned, and what is his angle?"
Dymo smiled as he sat beside him. "Maybe if you understand what would have happened and what your fate was before he came along and changed the future, you might figure out what his angle might be?"
Fang turned to him as he watched Dymo smiled grow. "You mean to summon Clorack herself? Just for something like that? Is it not trivial to do such a thing?"
Dymo snicked as Fangs question. "Yes, but I think she will help as it might put some ease on your mind." Dymo placed his hand on Fang's knee. While Dymo closed his eyes.
Fang felt as if the room was spinning as he glanced around to see the area become pitch black. Fang tried to stand and found that he could. He stared at his legs in astonishment, before glancing around once more as the darkness turned into a new room. Clocks lining the walls as a man sat in a chair with a small black scaled, and white-eyed dragon curled in his lap. While a woman walked up beside him with a similar dragon resting on her shoulders.
Fang went to open his mouth but found that his voice was gone as he touched his throat. The woman smiled as she walked over at him. "So, Dymo sent you to us, it seems?" Her voice soothing as the sound of the clocks began to roar.
The man stood up as he looks at the woman. "Clorack, be gentle with him, as he cannot talk unless either of us gives him permission in our spiritual plateau."
Clorack turned to the man, "I will Lork. Besides, you need to see what else this Wolf has changed. As well as what is changing in the flow of time." She then turned to Fang as she placed her hand on his shoulder. His throat burned as she smiled at him with a gentle embrace. "There you should be able to ask your questions while you are here. Unless my brother does otherwise."
Fang rubbed his throat as he stared at her. "So, you the Goddess of Time, Clorack, and I am guessing that Lork is your male counterpart?"
Clorack smiled as she summoned forth seat for him. "Yes, now have a seat—even if you are paralyzed back in the living world." She gestured to the chair. Fang hesitantly sat down as he looked at her. "I am guessing you want to know what your fate would have been if Wolf did not alter your course?"
Fang shifted in his seat, "Yes, and what else he has changed?"
Clorack's cheery expression turned grim as she stared at him. "Are you sure of this?" Fang nodded as she sighed before summoning a clock to show what was to happen. "Now, I am going to warn you. I am going to show your fate than the fate of the world."
Fang glanced at her. "I am sure. Now start showing me what was to happen."
Clorack nodded as she began the time that was altered. Fang watched as he was killed by Demora, with his mother smiling over him and his father grinning. He could see the others with him as they were killed, one by one, before Luna as she was screaming out to them. With Demora smiling and laughing at his victory. Fang felt sick as he watched the fate expanded to the world dying and life ceasing to exist. With Demora killing innocent lives as Luna was held captive. Hanging helplessly and defeated.
Fang tried to pull away, but Clorack forced him to watch more as he could see what his fate could have been and his friends, killed for the glory of Demora and his cause. Killing his people and allies in cold blood. Fang felt ready to puke as she pulled the clock away.
Fang then fell to his knees as he wished he never saw any of what he saw shown. "Now you see, this Wolf changed all of that. I even asked Flora, the Goddess of Destiny, to see a possible future where this was not the case, and it all stems from Lovell's death." Clorack turned away, "Where Lovell killed Hunter and was able to kill off Vann. Yet as you can see, that is not the case. If Lovell lived that day and Hunter died, the future we were heading to was to come to terms today. And now we, the goddess of time and Destiny, cannot see anything as everything was changed. When Hunter Lovell originally lived instead of dying at birth. This fate was written as well, but with Luna reborn four more times before Demora consuming her powers as a god."
Fang froze as he looked up at her, "Wait? What do mean Hunter and Lovell's birth? Hunter was a clone of Lovell?"
Clorack sighed as she stood up, "Hunter was not a clone but his twin brother. Ulva did everything to save them where she gave birth to Hunter first—prematurely mind you— and placed him in a cloning tube. As to preserve his life. And kept Lovell—sorry Uriel—within for another month."
Fang could not take his eyes off Clorack, "So, the rumours about beastman having two births when with twins is true. They can give birth to one and the other later if the conditions are not right for the children inside the mother's womb."
Clorack nodded as she knelt down to Fang, gaining eye level with him, "Yes, and Kaya knew this. It took us ten years to fix the timeline, and the destiny of every person on Altora as one or two destiny breakers can change everything. It won't be for another ten years before people can see into the future once more, but whomever this Wolf person is? He came at the right time and foiled a broken future. Saving it in the process. I would trust he has the same goal as you in stopping Demora. He might be the very key us gods are looking for. Even though none of the gods know who he is or where he came from?"
Fang felt the queasiness subside as he stood up. "Very well, I will trust him. I was shocked to see him kill my mother, but the words he said throw's me off. IT is like he knows me and the other. Yet I don't know where I know him from or how he knows about us?"
Clorack gritted her teeth as she stood up, facing him, face to face. "Fang, I will tell you this as well before I send you back, Lovell never had a formed soul. It was fragmented and held together by your ancestor Uriel the first and the world spirit."
Fang narrowed his eyes as he stared at her expression. "Wait then, Lovell never was truly alive, to begin with, and was one of the products of Demora's influence?" Clorack nodded at Fang's conclusion. "Then he cannot come back from the dead. Even if we do the tear revile or head to the tree of life. Lovell is gone forever!" Tears welled up in Fang's eyes.
Clorack turned away, "I am truly sorry, but at the same time, the world spirit will fade out an existence as well as your ancestors—sorry they are gone now."
Fang went pale as he stepped back, "Then what will help the Sentya flow to the surface? A-and how long before all of the world will be in danger?"
"I do not know, but the world spirit told us not to worry as he has set a plan in motion for when that time would arise. It will take at least one billion years before the paths he created will close."
Fang sighed as he stepped back, "Then we can hope whatever the solution is. He has sent word to someone he trusts and can communicate with. Besides, if the connections are severed, what would happen to the world?"
Clorack closed her eyes, "The world would be alright, but magic or Ky and Ren will be no longer be usable by anyone, and the theyan race will disappear with all of the other races except Humans and Animilian. They will be the only living people since they can magicless and Renless people. While others rely on Sentya to survive and live within the world. But they might be able to adapt to where non-shifting demons, elves and beastmen can live in the Sentyaless world. Plus, any magic stones plants and animals will die off, leaving ten present of all the world's plants and animals to survive."
Fang felt ill as he listened to Clorack. "So, if we can have some sort of system to maintain the flow, then all will be fine?" Clorack nodded as Fang breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good. Anyway, is there anything else you wish to tell me before you send me back?"
Clorack nodded as she touched his shoulder. "Try to fulfill the path that you were given and that you should work on being able to summon the Ren-Ky weapon."
Fang smiled as he looked away, 'It is funny, we are called Ren-Ky, the two energy forces created from Sentya. Yet we are not called Sentya warriors.'
Clorack smiled at his notion. "Yes, the reason is that you are two entities in one body, the internal representation and the physical representation. As you can be one or the other and yet both. Just like Ren and Ky can be used separately yet come from the same source." Clorack waved at Fang as she began to send him back. "Remember to summon your Ren-Ky weapon. And tell Dymo not to—"
FANg opened his eyes to see Dymo sitting across from him as he looked at his legs, gripping them. "You are back, that wasn't too long, about an hour or two—" Dymo looked at the clock. "Scratch that, six hours. My oh my, where has the time gone. I will prepare some dinner."
"Dymo."
Dymo looks back at Fang, "Yes, what's up?"
Fang smiled, sending chills up Dymo's spine. "Clorack told me to tell you that you should move soon if you don't want to get caught up in a fight. From what she has observed."
Dymo nodded as he shivered off his chill. Fang turned to the window and looked at the Ren-Ky jewel and closed his eyes. Remembering Zero and the others training with Kratos and Mama K. Fang was able to summon the weapon. He opened his eyes to see that it turned into a scythe with a long shaft. Fang glanced over the weapon, trying to figure out why it was a scythe and not anything else. He gripped the shaft as he figured out why. Fang smiled as he unsummoned the scythe and tried to stand.
He found his legs wobbling as he stood up, forcing himself to stand as he stumbled forward. Catching the windowsill. Fang took a deep breath before taking a step but found his legs did not show and strength as he could move. He stopped and sat back in the wheelchair. Knowing that the nerves were almost repaired, and they soon would leave to seek out the person, Wolf had asked them to meet.
