Shen Tianyu pinched Rong Jian's arm hard, her smile not dropping one bit. Rong Jian winced but Shen Tianyu whispered in his ear without turning around. "I'll deal with you when we get back." Rong Jian's face slightly paled but he didn't dare to say anything.
Shen Tianyu continued the conversation as if nothing happened at all. "Then, it's alright for me to take the Cultivator's course, mother-in-law?"
"Of course. I never took any of those stupid etiquette lessons and I'm doing just fine. I don't see why it's required for you. Though, it might be recommended to ah-Jing's fiancee, the Crown Princess. It's still better for her to have knowledge of these things but it's no use if it's forced." The Empress stroked her chin in thought.

Some announcements:
1: I'm really glad that many people have stuck with this story for so long and even want more chapters to be released. Unfortunately, unlike novels in translation or old novels, I don't have a stockpile of chapters to fall on. I'm writing these chapters the day they are released. Also, I have a life outside of writing and am busy due to my gaming addiction and procrastination tendencies, which is not good for college. BUT I will release more chapters when I'm not buried in work so please be patient and wait for more releases, though I can't guarantee a mass release. Thank you for all your patience and support, really!
2: I've been getting notifications in my comment sections correcting some mistakes in certain chapters and I am thankful for them. I promise I'll do the corrections this weekend. Feel free to notify me again if I missed any.
3: I have seen some requests for more action. I have planned more action for the main characters but it might take some time to get there. Please bear with me!
