I sat in the locker room. "Where the hell is he?"
"Right behind you." He popped behind me. "GAH! You have got to stop doing that! I get you just figured out that ability, but come on." He chuckled, "Come on, it's fun. Your reactions are priceless."
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up fuzzball. We've got a match to win." We walked out, and were met with harsh sunlight. I shielded my eyes, and looked ahead. We were confronted with two people, each wearing all white, except for their bandannas, which were black. "Arrows won't do anything to us, right?" Akumura shook his head. "Good." The usual countdown occurred, then we went at it.
I took the guy on the left. Brit was right, these were fairies. They had barely visible wings projected behind them. The one I was fighting had a katana similar to mine, except it was green instead of blue. I jumped back, and tried to charge the potential energy in the blade. Before it was ready, I was bet with a strike directly to my arm. I felt each nerve, vein, and tissue detach from the rest of my body. I screamed, and fell to my knees. The guy looked at me with an odd combination of pity, confusion, and pride. I cracked a smile. "Just kidding." I forced a new arm out of the wound. "Might wanna try harder than that." I grabbed my sword, and took advantage of his shock. I sliced at his neck, showering myself in blood. "Perfect." I licked the blood off my blade.
My body went numb. "What the-" He traced his wound with his finger. "You vampires are so predictable." His neck was completely sealed, like nothing happened. "Next time," He scoffed, "try to keep your feeding to nighttime." He plunged his sword into my chest. "I'm gonna help you take Akumura our now!" He pulled the sword out, and blood flowed to my mouth. I spit a descent amount out, and an arrow flew down, and hit me directly in the stomach. "This is-" I tried moving, "The worst pain." I moved a little, but it just sent waves of pain through my veins. "Oh cool it gets worse." I tried to grab the arrow and pull it out, but when I did, the skin on my hand started searing. "SHIT!" I pulled my hand off. "The least I can do is. Keep moving." I started to walk toward the fight. "If I can charge my-" and arrow flew down again, and hit me directly in the leg. "That wasn't even strategizing!" I stumbled forward, but my body was shutting down. "No. I can't just. Go down. Not like this." I kept shuffling, "I. Refuse. To. Lose." My voice intensified the more I spoke, "I. Won't. Go. Down. Like this."
More blood flew out of my mouth. I held my sword at the ready. As it charged, I noticed the guy I was fighting looked at me. "You're gonna have to try a little harder than that!" I flung myself toward him. The blade plunged directly between his eyes, and he fell down. "Check."
"Simon Moki, eliminated!" I felt my body shutting down. "Akumura. Take him out." Right as I said that, another arrow flew at me. This time, I passed out and the other guy stood right over my body. I heard the unpleasant noise of an arrow going through someone's body, then felt a huge amount of weight fall on me. "Naomi Heiwagima, eliminated!"
I woke up in the locker room. "How you doing?" Akumura was standing next to me, "You did good out there. Just, let me move on. You can't handle another fight, especially since it looks like we're going against Bill in the final round." I nodded, "Fine by me. Just, please, don't lose. No matter what." He nodded, "When have I?" I laughed a little, then stood up. "Well, let's go."
