Jia Bi Yu looked to Ian waiting for his explanation.
"You can use this portal to go to the same place it originally led to before I absorbed it.
It will only be visible to the other side if you will it to.
Otherwise, it will stay hidden in plain sight.
The creatures on the other side also cannot use this portal any longer unless you give them permission to."
This was basically a custom made portal for his personal use only.
"How do I use it?" Jia Bi Yu asked excitedly.
"You simply have to step into it and you will automatically go through to the other side.
Unlike the original portal, there is no need to go through a tunnel.
I have made it so the two ends are completely connected."
"Then, are you able to know what's on the other side?" Jia Bi Yu asked since he really knew nothing about the creatures of the other realm.
"Well, even though I have a direct connection, my mental senses can only reach around a 100 meters radius from the exit," Ian replied. "And currently, the area is empty."
Despite knowing the existence of the fissure, with the monastery sealing it off, the creatures on the other side had long forgotten about it, treating it as though it was merely another rock on the road.
Once in a while, a wandering creature would come upon it and tried to break past, but ultimately failed and was killed off by the seals the monks had in place.
It wasn't long before it became known as some sort of forbidden ground, and nobody lived within a ten kilometer radius from it.
Jia Bi Yu did not have much to prepare, as everything was already within his space.
It just felt a bit weird to have to go through his space in order to travel between the two realms.
He has always relied on his teleportation magic, and this portal reminded him of those transfer stations back in Trinix.
Not all people were able to use magic, and the transfer gates were the main mode of travel for Normas, those who cannot use magic due to extremely small mana pools.
Jia Bi Yu felt a wave of dizziness as he stepped into the portal.
The scent of muskiness intrudes through his nostrils as they flared up from the sudden change.
The feeling of dread and a deep chill that can seep into one's very bones fills the air in the surroundings.
He slowly opened his eyes when his mind started to clear up, seeing a world of red all around.
An eerie black crescent moon lied overhead, covering the crimson land with a dark overcast.
No signs of life can be seen.
Not a single plant or creature.
The air is still and not a grain of sand moves.
The deathly silence breaks upon the arrival of Jia Bi Yu.
His presence was an oddity in this forbidden ground that seemed to have not been intruded upon for centuries.
The closest thing he could think of was the forest of the dark elves back in Trinix, and even then, it was lackluster compared to the eeriness of this place.
A minuscule amount of evil miasma slowly seeped into his body, as Ian, himself, couldn't help but feel the need to absorb this energy from his most primal instincts.
Jia Bi Yu ignored this as he figured it would help the little dragon to increase in power.
Over the past two years, he had found no way to help Ian with his evil attribute, as spirit stones were of no use as they only contained pure energy.
Unlike the dimensional space that could utilize such energy, the evil attribute must be cultivated through the aura of killing.
This place was the perfect source, being filled with evil miasma to its very roots.
Jia Bi Yu did not know which direction to go in, as all around him were the exact same sight.
He took out a pen from somewhere and threw it into the air with a slight spin.
It came twirling down and continued to spin as it bounced off the ground a few times.
As the centrifugal force diminished and came to a stop, it pointed towards his right and slightly behind.
He picked his pen back up and turned toward the direction it had pointed to and finally made his second step onto this foreign land.
