Kapitel 29: Amusement Park Part 2
A large fountain that was bigger than the size of a swimming pool laid at the very front after Jia Bi Yu and Chen Mei Ling stepped foot passed the gates.
Nine large sprouts of water separated by nine smaller sprouts half the size of the larger ones ran along the front part of the fountain, spraying towards the center of the fountain.
Sitting in the shallow blue water was an enormous sculpture of a Chinese dragon looking down majestically at the guests.
The dragon had scales of the same color as the water, with a golden mane that ran from the back of its head down to the very tips of its tail and an underside of blood red.
Its talons of the same blue color are raised above its head towards as though in greeting.
Jia Bi Yu stared at awe at the extremely realistic looking creature.
There were only western dragons in Trinix, like Ian and the other dragon gods, and his only source of information about this new mysterious creature was from books and the web after he came to this world.
A beige tiled path with cream colored markings near the edge of the fountain ran around and behind it towards the other attractions in the park.
A slightly raised part of the path formed a bridge on each side of the back of the fountain, with grey ancient Chinese styled railings on the outside.
The two paths came together at their ends, forming a cone shaped fountain when in birdseye view.
Far into the distance at the very back of the park was a big white Ferris wheel supported by a black beam.
Pointing excitedly at the skyscraper height roller coaster on the left side of the park, Chen Mei Ling hurriedly pulled Jia Bi Yu by his hand towards that direction after walking around the fountain.
He sighed at his predicament as he was bound to be at her beck and call all day long.
Their heads tilted all the back as they tried to look at the top of the portion of the roller coaster just in front of them, squinting their eyes against the bright sun rays.
Chen Mei Ling's hands created a visor, shielding her eyes as she stood on the very tips of her toes, her mouth widening in a gasp of shock at times and excitement at others.
It didn't take long for their turn in line.
She ran up towards the very front seat at the park employee's signal, settling herself in and buckling up her seatbelt at the speed of light, before turning back to look for Jia Bi Yu.
She spotted him calmly walking towards her with one hand in his pants pocket, his beauty looking otherworldly, so suave and captivating.
Well, he really was an otherworldly being.
She can feel the heart eyes of the all of the women in the surrounding popping out of their sockets as his celestial looks leave them all breathless.
She slightly squinted her eyes at them before beckoning him over sweetly with her hand.
"Yu gege~"
His body shivered at her coquettish tone, as he paused in his steps for not even a second, unnoticeable to anyone else.
As he sat down next to her, she leaned her body over intimately, as she wrapped her arms around his, squeezing it against her.
She moved her head towards his almost like a lover's kiss, whispering into his ears quietly.
"Hahaha. Look at all of those women. I bet they're all heartbroken by now!"
Her tone was a total 180 degrees from her earlier flirty one.
He couldn't help but let out a bitter smile, but to the surrounding, it looked as though he was giving his young girlfriend the most tender smile filled with love.
Their hearts can only shatter into a million pieces at their affections, with those right behind them in line choosing to sit with at least two seats in between them.
The boyfriends of some of those girls did not know whether to laugh or cry and could only glare bitterly at Jia Bi Yu.
A loud siren went off signaling the start of the ride after everyone got securely seated.
The roller coaster train slightly shook as it started slowly making its way forward on the tracks out of the platform.
It did a few simple twists and turns to warm the riders up, and soon arrived below the first large hill.
It slowly climbed its way up as the wheels gave off squeaks constantly as it rubbed against the steel.
It jolted to a stop when the front cart Jia Bi Yu and Chen Mei Ling were in got to the very peak, slightly swaying front and back.
It was the first time riding a roller coaster for the both of them, and Chen Mei Ling waved both of her arms in the air in anticipation with a big grin on her face.
The train came crashing down without the slightest warning.
Her face instantly froze, her heart about to jump out of her chest from the back, wanting to be left at the top of the hill.
Her life flashed across her eyes as she immediately regretted ever getting onto this ride.
She shut her eyes in fear, her hands tightening onto the metal bar locking her in place.
Not even a single sound came out of her mouth as she clenched her teeth together, holding her breath in.
When it was finally over, her eyelids slowly opened, her eyelashes slightly wet.
She peeked over at the person sitting next to her, only to find him staring back at her with his arms crossed in front of his chest as his head leaned gently against one of his fists.
She gritted her teeth angrily at him, lips twitching, when she saw the teasing glint in his eyes despite his facial paralysis.
He supported her down the ride with one arm wrapped around her small waist, as she leaned snuggly onto his chest.
Not just the women, but also the men in the surroundings couldn't help but spurt out a bucket load of blood.
