Xiandi nearly broke out into a run towards the city gates but Ling Yiyao stepped in front of him.
"You are representing My Lady please act with some dignity." Ling Yiyao scowlded.
"Hmph," Xiandi scoffed.
Shi Rong walked gracefully in front of them through the gates as they followed closely behind.
Many people stopped to stare at the trio.
"Such handsome men!"
"What a beautiful woman!"
Shi Rong felt many envious and hateful stares from woman as she walked. She ignored the feeling and gracefully continued forward.
A young woman stood behind the gathering crowded with a white and gold encrusted hood over her head. Her short white hair swayed gently underneath as her yellowish eye stared out past the crowd landing on Xiandi.
A small cunning smirk appeared on her covered face. She quickly turned around and disappeared at the speed of light.
Xiandi sensed a familiar gaze on him. He turned and immediately started scanning the crowd causing the young women and girls to go wild.
"Ahhhh he looked at me!"
Don't be silly you ugly b*tch he looked at me!"
"Both of you hush his beautiful gaze landed on me!"
Xiandi's brows twisted in annoyance.
"Hey little girl, I wish to go off on my own!" Xiandi demanded.
"No need I wish for you to escort us towards this mysterious hare you are in such a hurry to meet."
Shi Rong strolled forward elegantly as she held her hands in front of her causing her luxurious robes to hug her slender frame.
Many men blushed causing a few jealous wives and mistresses to grow angry.
"Hmph what is so good about her!"
"Look at that smug expression and those flashy robes she must be a high ranked concubine from Xin District!"
"With those robes I highly doubt that she must be a low ranked palace concubine!"
