Kapitel 4: The nightmare begins (2)
In the press conference room, a graceful girl dressed in a white a-line dress addressed the group of eager reporters.
" Everyone please calm down.. After our announcement you are free to ask any question and we will try our best to answer it.." Li Meilin spoke sweetly calming all the frenzy reporters.
" Thank you so much for your understanding.. I now invite Mr. Han Yifeng to join us."
In the hospital room, Li Yan paused on hearing her fiancée's name.
A young man of about 25 years in a white suit climbed on to the stage. He had blonde hair and the diamond stud on his right ear complemented his white suit.. He looked extremely handsome..
In the beginning, Li Yan thought that she was extremely lucky on having such a handsome and cool fiancée. But, after seeing his lack of respect for women and his arrogance Li Yan truly hated him. Back then even after repeated protests her father refused to dissolve the engagement.
Now after the Han family's growth in the last one year, her father started to regret his decision of engaging me to Han Yifeng. Now her father need not worry as her step-sister and her fiancée took care of her..
On the stage, Li Meilin and Han Yifeng interlocked their hands as they looked at each other lovingly. It was Han Yifeng that took the initiative to explain " Today we are going to announce our relationship to everyone. Meilin and I are in love from the past two years. We are not able to announce publicly because of the marriage arrangement between Li Yan and myself. But, I can't deny my heart anymore."
Under the bewildered gazes of everyone, Han Yifeng and Li Meilin bowed " We request Miss. Li Yan to consider breaking our engagement. We are tired of asking her and we are not purposely humiliating her by doing this. If she had broken the engagement when we asked her, we would not have come out before media. We request the media to support us."
Li Yan almost clapped her hands on seeing their performance..
Whoa! An Oscar worthy performance..
'Now they are the pitiful lovers and I am the evil witch.. Good.. Very good..' Li Yan sneered in her heart. She didn't feel any pain in her heart as she herself didn't want this engagement. The only flaw is that she will be cursed by public.
Now, her so called father came forward.. No, he didn't deserve that title..
Li Changming motioned the couple to leave the venue so that they can have some quality time together..
The reporters swarmed towards them asking all kind of questions that could make potential headlines..
" Mr. Han and Miss. Li, isn't it a bit too cruel to announce your relationship when Miss Li Yan is hospitalized?"
"Mr. Han, is Miss. Li Yan deeply in love with you?"
The reporters bombarded them with several questions but both of them escaped agilely.. But, their righteous actions of not commending her in front of media will only confirm everyone's suspicions that Li Yan is deliberately not cancelling the engagement..
" Li Yan, just what are they thinking of you? Shall we file a complaint for defamation?" Zhuang Mei was frustrated. If they think that they can bully her friend just because she is injured, they are wrong!
Li Yan chuckled on seeing her friend's red face " No need, let it be.. Anyway, I don't care about what other's speak about me. I will announce on Weibo.. You don't need to explain it to the media.". Zhuang Mei nodded on seeing Li Yan's calm face.
Li Yan shifted her gaze to the TV..
She saw Li Changming take over the conference " I am ashamed to say that our leading artist Li Yan, stole the songs from her co-singer Gin Rou. We found concrete evidences to prove that she stole the songs."
" Also, our studio is cancelling the contract with Li Yan as it is found that she stole all the songs from Gin Rou. We, The new age music studios will not allow such plagiarism. We request all the other studios to blacklist Li Yan to uphold the morals of music industry."
Gin Rou.. Li Yan clenched her fists on hearing that name. Never in her dreams did she expect that her best friend always considered her as an obstacle..
Li Yan completely trusted Gin Rou and she even showed her all the new compositions.. The songs in which she put her heart and soul are stolen by her and in return they even sullied her name..
Li Yan felt a pain in heart only when she heard her father's carelessness and her best friends mocking words. Li Yan now did not feel anything. She felt empty and she no longer felt anything towards her so called family and best friend.

In the glass walled villa,
Loud moans and pants can be heard throughout the room..
The man rolled over from the woman's body to lie on her side..
" Meilin.. You are so good at making me happy.." Han Yifeng grinned at her.
" Baby, now that we got rid of her.. There's nothing that could stop you and me.. Her entire property will belong to me as father hates her to the bones.. Also, take Gin Rou into your company. Without Li Yan, no one could stop her and Li Yan's new songs are in her hands.. I will talk to father about letting her go.." Li Meilin's previous gentle facade disappeared and it is replaced with a cold and ruthless look.."
" Hmm.. let's not talk about her anymore.." Han Yifeng hugged the girl and started playing with her breasts.
In reality, Han Yifeng didn't hate Li Yan as she was more beautiful than Li Meilin.. But, she didn't submit to him and it made him loath her.. How dare she rejected him? So, it's only natural that he took his revenge upon her.. Justifying his actions, Han Yifeng no longer bothered with Li Yan and diverted his attention to the beauty under him.
