Meanwhile, while the adults were talking serious business downstairs, Andria and Lexa had reached her and Jonathan's room from the night before.
"So... Considering we're going to be partners from now. I'd like to know a few things about yourself, like do you have any rare elements?" The little kitten asked. a little hopeful gleam in her eyes. She would want her partner to be just as strong as her and having an innate alignment to a rare element was a good foundation for a Magician to work on.
While a Magician who only had an innate alignment to the four main elements could become strong by having a great understanding of those elements and external elements, being aligned to a rare element from birth is always going to be of great benefit, allowing the Magician to quickly learn the inner workings of an element faster than one who had studied an external element otherwise.
Andria sat on the floor across from the kitten and shook her head. "Andria doesn't know."
"Huh, how don't you know?" Lexa tilted her head, befuddled.
"Daddy says that Andria will have her Elemental Ali-... Alingm-..." Andria struggled to say that tough word with all her might, her little pale head straining from her concentration, turning a peach colour. "...Al-ign-ment... Yay, Andria said it right!"
"..." Lexa looked on with a dumb expression, not sure whether to laugh or cry. You got off track and didn't answer my question, ah!
When Andria saw the kitten's incredulous expression, she seemed to realise and continued on with her explanation. "Oh, right! Daddy and Mummy said Andria would have Andria's elements tested when Andria turns 5 years old!"
She cutely stuck out her hand, flashing her 5 stubby fingers.
'She didn't even say 'alignment' in the end...' The corner of Lexa's mouth twitched. But in the end, she could only shake her head helplessly before pondering on the matter at hand. "Do humans not have their elements from birth?... No, you just used the Wind Element earlier when dealing with those two thugs..."
"Andria can use the four elements Earth, Wind... Fire... Eh, ah, and Water!" Andria counted with her fingers as she listed. "But Daddy and Mummy say children under 5 can't use rare elements yet."
"Huh, is that so. Strange, us Magical Beasts seem to be able to do so at birth." Lexa said, confused.
"Daddy said its because children are naughty! Daddy says a lot of children hurt themselves and other people as they were not able to control such great powers, so the Gods locked the rarer elements away until we reach the age of 5!" Andria explained merrily. She seemed to like being in the know. However, her expression suddenly became panicked. "Wait, does this mean Daddy thinks Andria has been a naughty girl too?!"
Andria seemed to be on the verge of tears at this shocking "revelation".
The next several minutes consisted of Lexa calming Andria down and persuading her that her father didn't think she was a naughty girl...

Jonathan let out a long yawn as he stumbled lazily up the stairs. The sun had long set and the adults talk had finally ended just moments ago. Becoming tired and remembering his promise to Andria earlier that he would join her to play, he said goodbye to his father and uncle and was now walking his way towards his room, where Lexa and Andria should currently be.
Walking up to the wooden door, Jonathan grabbed the handle and opened the door. Peaking in, he couldn't help the smile forming his lips at what he saw.
Leaning against the lone bed, Andria was resting her little head against the soft mattress, her eyes that were closed trembled every now and then as her eyebrows creased. She was obviously dreaming something that made her upset. On Andria's lap, the kitten laid peacefully, her eyes closed as well, her petite body bloating up and down with her soft breathing.
'Seems I was too late, they've already tired themselves out.' Jonathan smiled as he ever-so-softly closed the door and walked up to his sister. Suddenly, the kitten's eyes opened abruptly, probably noticing his presence.
Jonathan placed his index finger on his lips in a shushing motion before placing his hands on Andria's back and under her knees. Lexa nodded her agreement before leaping off as Jonathan picked his sister up.
He gently placed her in the bed, Lexa leaping to her side in seconds, resting close to Andria's head.
"Goodnight." Jonathan softly said, patting the two of them once before standing up.
"Night~" Lexa half-yawned, half-mumbled. Her eyes were now closed, and sleep seemed seconds away for this tired little lass.
With the smile still on his face, Jonathan turned away to leave the room. He would ask the inn owner if he could buy another room for tonight.
Just as he was about to leave however, he suddenly had a strange sensation, he felt he had sensed something and turned back to look inside the room with narrowed eyes. Being a Spirit Rank Magician, Jonathan now had the Conscious Eye and he used it without hesitation.
Only, he didn't notice anything inside or outside the room. He could only shake it up to be a mistake. On the off hand that it wasn't, he held trust in the Wilderwolf soldier's holding guard all around the Golden Cloud Inn. There was a Late Stage Spirit Ranked Magician leading them after all.
Shaking his head, Jonathan gave a last sweet "goodnight" before leaving the room...

'F*ck the gods, that was close!' A shady, shadowed figure couldn't help but curse as he hid behind the ledge of the roof he was currently residing on. A few buildings across from him, the Golden Cloud Inn could be seen quite clearly.
This man was a thief who often used his nimble feet and keen eyes as a scout for the Beast-Eyed Killer. He was pretty confident in his ability to cloak his presence when even in the same room as another. Yet to his shock, that Young Master of the Wilderwolf family had nearly caught him!
That was some detection abilities!
The shady man let out a long breath before unhesitatingly running from his spot. It was about the time to hand in his report anyway.
In the light of the moonlight, his features were revealed. His eyes were sunken in and his eyebrows were at a 45 degree angle. His hair and eyes were a dirty brown colour and he wore a long, dark as the night long coat. His lips and teeth seemed to naturally form into a cocky grin and his nose was long and sharp. This was a man that could only be described as shady looking.
Several minutes later, the shady man's nimble feet landed on a windows ledge of a beat up abandoned building. Stepping inside the building, the man walked up to a lit fire place where three men were sat.
Two at the back were tough looking guards with scars abundant. The other man managed to look even more menacing, with a striking scar that cut across the bridge of his nose and jagged eyes like those of a vicious beast. This was naturally the wanted criminal, the Beast-Eyed Killer!
"Savre, what have you found? Tell me." Those vicious landed on him, but he didn't flinch for even a second under these piercing eyes. That was only natural, as this man known as Savre wasn't only a thief and a scout to the Beast-Eyed Killer, he is also his longest companion and has long gotten used to those savage eyes. Now, they only remind him of how powerful and great his boss is.
"Yes, boss!" Savre knelt down in a subservient manner in front of the Beast-Eyed Killer and promptly began his report...
