Kapitel 237: I Don't Have the Time

At lunch, Montana returned to Rosanna's room with bags of food for three people. His eyes were squinted when he entered, feeling not so amused since Allan himself was directing him to seal a deal with Corentin that very morning. The only pluses were that he got to ride on a very luxurious limo with Corentin and he had been working with Corentin for some of his Shadow Hand missions before.

Perhaps that was the reason why the deal with Corentin was handled by Montana. If it was any other agent, Corentin must have shortchanged them or had intimidated them into submission.

"How was the not-fieldwork going?" Theresa laughed out as she received the bags from Montana and picked out which were drinks and which were rice meals. "Getting assigned for desk work isn't actually a-hundred-percent desk work, and that's why some wanted to be agents for real. The thrill they get is too tempting."
