Sitting on his throne, God look down at Earth, seeing mortals sinning without a care in the world and ponders what punishment he should give. He could use a flood like before, but that would damage the world and push humanity back many years. While they must be punish, he must make sure they don't interfere with the Grand Plan.
Below Gods' seat are the seven Archangels on their thrones. They, like God were confuse as to why they didn't notice this before.
God look at the Archangels, "My children, what should be done to punish these mortals? Through infinite in wisdom, We cannot think of a way to punish them without destroying the land."
The strongest of the angels, Micheal, Archangel of Warriors asked, "Father, why not release Lucifer? Punishing these mortals for sins even after Jesus died for them, yet they fail to change, isn't it blasphemy against you? Releasing Lucifer would teach them a lesson."
God pondered and said, "True, he is a good fit to punish them but Lucifer is rebellious. If We release him, he would attempt to sway the mortals into even more sins. Plus, We can't move Lucifer without Asmodeus approval."
The seven Archangels frowned. While Heaven is powerful, Asmodeus is also powerful. According to God, Admous is His counterpart, His evil side. Different side of a coin. However, that being said, God has more power than Asmodeus.
Chamuel, the Archangel of Peace, "Father, why not manifest to the mortals? I'm sure they are sinning because we haven't make an appearance for a long time"
Azazel frowned at Chamuel's words, "Why must Father manifest to mortals? Shouldn't they worship and have faith in Father?"
God looked at his children and pondered, 'Chamuel does make sense, but Azazel also has a point.'
"Gabriel, you will descend and spread Our words to the mortals below. We decided We will be lenient this time around. Humans were given free will for a reason, We wish for them to make their own choices but those choices have consequences. It may only apply after death, but those who can enter the Kingdom of God are far and few."
The Archangels were confused, Father is not going to punish them as before? With all these sins before Him, Father is willing to forgive them, such benevolence is worthy of the Creator.
"Father, I will descend now." Gabriel's bow and wings sprouted out his back and he flew down to Earth.
Seeing Gabriel leave, God asks something that has been nagging him for a while now, "Do any of you know where Jesus is?"
"I believe he returned to your side Father. Jesus was your human manifestation on Earth."
God frowned as he listened to the answer. 'Jesus? Why does this name ring in my mind? Did We forget something? How can We forget, are We not God?'

Inside the White Space of the Gate, Ainz frowned as he observe God, "I changed his mind but his soul wholeheartedly believed in the Christian God, so the fact he became God but failed to see Jesus is affecting him? Do the soul have so much power? If only I could manipulate it."
Cronos stood beside Ainz looking at God with an interesting expression. This experiment is going better than predicted. "Lord Ainz, why not reset him? Him in this state will obviously affect your plan."
"There is no need. In any experiment, there are bound to be variables and constants. The fact that there are more gods out there will slowly dull the feelings he is having. In this life he is God, nothing can change that. Chronos, any words from the Underworld?"
"Unfortunately, the Underworld is collapsing as we speak. Many undead have perished; Death and Overlord Wiseman are attempting to slow the process down, however their power is not enough. At this rate, it will not be long before the Underworld and all that is fuelled by it, to cease to be."
"That's worrying indeed, but not a bad thing." Ainz rubbed his chin with some worry on his face before smiling, "It won't be long before my soldiers are ready to invade the Dominion. These gods are the first batch I'm nurturing. That's the reason why I gave the Greek Gods a different job and these gods free reign. I want them to possess a sense of authority before I open a to Dominion, to experience true war. Though I call them soldiers, they are common fodder used to distract the gods, as to my true purpose; complete subjugation. However, this goal is hard to achieve. That's why I'm trying to remove the obstacles one by one before then. Catching a God of Death will spare us from death and move the Underworld to this world to be fused into the City of Death."
"It seems you have thought about everything. Then let me ask you, have you noticed the rules of this world changing? Every time you create new gods, create underworlds and special walls, the world is slowly accepting them, becoming more perfect and orderly. However this process will take a long time to fully complete, unless you want me to speed it up?"
Ainz's face changed and look at the world, noticing minute changes he failed to notice. Looking at the Primordial Gods, his eyes widened, why have they become stronger? It was only a few levels but this means a lot. Their levels are maxed at level 70, and cannot increase.
Frowning, Ainz looked at the Underworld of the Greek World, and noticed that the space had increased even more. It's not an expansion done by the demons but the power of space.
Eh? Ainz glanced at himself and noticed that his mana pool had increased by at least 1%. Was this the feedback of changing the rules of the world? Was this the correct way for Supreme Beings to become stronger?
In the Ainzland, the Eight Greed Kings change the rules of the word but before the change, Wild Magic had existed so the change wasn't enough to give a feedback?
Now that I think about it, Ainzland and this world doesn't exist in the same universe, more like parallel ones. This world is like my old one, a world with rigid rules and had no room for magic, but the fact that my mana comes from myself and not outside world, every change was accepted, because the world thinks it did it itself?
But if that's the case, why did mana exist in this world? Why was our power enhanced? Or did mana always exist but the rigid rules forbid anything supernatural from being borned? However, isn't that Zues fellow technically a supernatural being?
'I mean, I read his memory, it was clear he wasn't.'
"I accidentally found a way to become stronger, though it seems like I won't be able to level up until I create another Air of Death." Though his mana increase, it was not done from leveling up, it was more like enhancing the power he already had.
Chronos looks at Ainz with respect, something he rarely shows, "The rules are something that only the most powerful of beings can control. But the fact that you are creating the rules of this world, even though the world is helping you, is astounding. Maybe it was not a fluke you became the Supreme Being of Death."
Ainz pondered and replied, "Maybe..."
———
Inside Heaven, God looked at Earth and froze with confusion.
He had been controlling the mirror to observe the world, when he spotted creatures not human. They possessed power not less than his Archangels, but how could that be? How could their be beings he was not aware with such power?
These beings were 5 to 10 meters tall, far taller than him. He could feel they were physically stronger than himself but in magic he could defeat them but not without losses.
"Why have I not noticed that there are other gods in this world? Now that I think about it, did I create this world? If so, why does my power only stretch so far? The same is about the Demon Kings, they can only use power in the same sphere as me. Does that mean outside this sphere, other gods control that area? Can I leave this sphere and enter there? Who decided these areas?"
As time passed, God became more and more confused. Everything he is seeing is against the knowledge in his head.
Firstly, when he woke up, inside hs head, there was a voice saying he was God. Yet, a smaller voice was saying otherwise.
Secondly, as he observe the humans, he noticed them worshiping a book called Bible that goes against everything he stands for. Perhaps the only thing accurate is the fact Jesus was sacrifice for their sins.
Thirdly, how can he be God and not know there are other gods?
He possessed many abilities, many of which seems foreign to him. There was one ability that man him waver in his disbelief if he was God, . It allows him to morph into three forms, God the Son, God the Father and God the Holy Ghost.
"If Jesus is me and I sacrifice him, does that mean I died? Also, who did I sacrifice him to? If I am God, is there a need for me to sacrifice my son? Or was that something these mortals thought of? However, I do remembered being nailed to a cross by my followers, so that much shouldn't be wrong. Sigh.. for now, I will play the part of God, these children are loyal to me, I shouldn't disappoint them."
Looking at the gods on the mirror, God wondered if he should meet them. Sadly, whenever he thought of this, murderous thoughts appear. "But I wonder why I have the urge to call them false gods, is that what they are? Am I the only God in this world?" Frowning, he felt like there were two souls fighting for control of his body. One was cold, ruthless and ancient, the other was weak, old and weathered. God felt like the first one was perhaps the real God and the second one was himself.
"Does that mean I took over God's body? No wonder why I felt so confused but how can a mortal take over God? And why does God feel ruthless? Isn't God good? Is that from the perspective of a mortal? To God maybe there is no good or evil? So I'm in a tight spot. On one hand, I should obediently give control to God but on the other, I will die. What should I choose?" God ponders deeply. He could easily suppress God, but that would be blasphemous against the divine but if he gives up, he will die. "Maybe fusion is the best choice. Absorb God's knowledge and make it my own, and become God with my own personality. In this way we both survive."
