Kapitel 30: New Plan Part 1

"Damn!" Ainz was furious. That Ancient God was stronger than anything he experienced. Not even the World Enemy, the Devourer of the Nine Worlds comes close.

Had he not escaped, Ainz feared he would have died where he stood, and would not have the chance of resurrection.

For tarnishing the name Ainz Ooal Gown; that being deserves death! Sadly, however, even with the Floor Guardians, he didn't see any hope. Even Rubedo would easily be defeat; which would weaken Nazarick severely.

While there was little he cared about, they were things he fiercely protected. Any harm that befell his children, would be reciprocated twice over with death.

Fleeing from the Heavenly Kingdom, Ainz was trapped between dimensions. He has been trapped there for over a hundred years, but according to Chrono, only a day had passed.

He had no choice but to believe Chrono; after all, he was a Lord of Time. If he couldn't tell the flow of time, he didn't desire the title.

In that time, Ainz made a breakthrough with the , increasing the capabilities of the spell. Now, no matter how far the location is, he could travel there, as long as he had a visual of the area, either through pictures or memory.

Ainz was cautious, so even with his new strength, he remained free from rage.

Goddess of Nature Blue Whale had not used her full power, so he had no idea how strong she is when compared to the Ancient God. His view of power has been toppled, making him rethink what the True Gods were truly capable of.

Until he reaches power rivaling or surpassing World Enemy, he would not think of returning to Dominion.

Since the capabilities of change, Ainz decided to travel to Ainzland, taking in the scene of his world. He never gets tired of seeing it.

No matter where he looked, many races were living in harmony, showing that only the narrowness of one's mind impeded peace.

However, if years from now he is overthrown, his legacy will fade. Rulers always want to change the old policy of the previous ruler to show how they are different and better than them. However, what could be better than peace and harmony? On that note, who would dare to undermine him?!

A woman could walk to any corner of the world butt naked with gold coins, and wouldn't be robbed or raped. It's even likely for monsters that use to eat or use humans to reproduce to provide aid instead.

None of the monsters wanted to return to their old ways of life. Being in constant hunger and fear of death.

Aside from taking in the ambiance of his world, Ainz went back to Nazarick to observe his subordinates, learning about the fate of Albedo in the process.

What he didn't want, happened. However, at least the worse outcome didn't. He didn't know how he would react if his woman was killed, even under his orders.

Sighing, Ainz decided to look for her.

Finding Albedo was easy, as her soul was bigger than all the creatures of the world. The highest power level of the New Worlders was level 70. Unless a miracle happens, they will not achieve power higher than this. Level 70, even amongst Players is an insurmountable gap that took months, which when translated to this world, was probably centuries.

Perhaps, the only way for them to reach that level, was to use the resources gained through the Noble Tournament. The second is luck and birthright.

Flying towards the pink soul that seemed to be suppressing light around it, Ainz found Albedo in a remote region of the world, living in a small village.

He shadowed her for a couple of months, noticing she seemed more loving and caring than he remembered.

Albedo blended into the village by pretending to be a middle-aged woman, and even had a human child?

Ainz was furious at the thought she mated with someone, eager to burn the world to the ground. However, after observing, she learned the child was abandoned because she was a cripple, who could not walk.

After leaving Nazarick, Albedo did not know where to go. She had managed the entire world under the order of Ainz, but she didn't know much about it.

She traveled around and eventually, ended up on the edge of the Holy Continent, in this small village which was close off from the rest of the world.

Albedo had found the child, still an infant, abandoned by her parents and chosen to adopt her.

Maybe because their situation was similar, Albedo decided to raise her like her own, making clothes, and cooking for her.

If he hadn't seen it, he wouldn't believe what he was seeing, but here he was. Using , he interacted with them for a couple of days, pretending to be a merchant.

He had fun pretending to be a merchant as it was similar to being a salaryman.

His daughter's name confuses him a little. Her name was Ainese, which was clearly a feminine version of his.

Speaking of daughters; Arielle seems happy following his 'friend'. They were traveling the world, growing stronger.

From his observations, he learned the name of the man is Wu Tain, and he was an immortal warrior.

According to Wu Tain, he planned to obtain some resources before leaving for Nazarick.

Ainz frowned, this wasn't what he wanted but since he cannot make an appearance, with him being dead, he could only let it go.

Currently, he is inside the space of waiting for Chrono to contact him.

Chrono had died when he entered the but thankfully, as long as the Underworld hadn't been destroyed he wouldn't die.

Using the Shooting Star, he summoned Chrono, without losing experience, however, the way he used the ring maximized what he gained.

His wish was that as long as he didn't die, his summons would automatically revive at his location.

This meant if the Underworld happened to fall, as long as he survived, they wouldn't die.

Inspired by Wu Tain Void Space, Ainz created a similar space with . Just not for storing creatures but as an impregnable base. No one can enter without his approval.

Inside the , there is a hundred-meter long white space. However, the was sealed off, only having one way to observe the world, the Mirror of Remote Viewing.

A appeared in front of Ainz, with a pale young man stepping through it. The young man bowed, showing his respect for Ainz.

Behind the young man were six unconscious humans floating in the air, following him as he moved.

Ainz curiously looked at the humans and couldn't help asking, "You choose them?"

After gaining the spell, Ainz could always be found in a human body. Since he added stats to the massive mana pool, he could maintain the spell indefinitely.

Currently, he looks like a man in his twenties, with pale skin as if he had an illness. Red eyes flickering as if flames burn within, robe surpassing the richest of men, and rings donning his fingers.

"My Lord, your orders were clear. 'Find some humans, who wouldn't be missed'; which I did. These humans are slaves; for the civilization of this world, it's already a task to keep track of themselves, let alone keeping track of others. 'There must be four males and two females'." While Chrono was confused, Ainz orders were to be followed; so he didn't question Ainz.

Upon his entrance to this world, Ainz already knew everything about this world; by gaining a few bits of information from some mortals.

This information gathering ability of Ainz made Chrono look at him in a new light. At the very least, he was not useless.

They began to experiment, and looked for any supernatural elements and were disappointed. This world never experienced a supernatural event, even though it was full of mana, second only to Ainzland.

To prove this, Chrono cast a spell called , which causes one's perception of time to be heightened. However, the spell causes a region to skip months into the future, frightening both him and Ainz.

Chrono uses his spell to rewind time, removing the changes he causes.

"The direction of this world will soon change. The world has gold, which I desire. The gold of the world, how long would that last Nazarick? A millennium? Ten millennia? No matter what, this world will be under my governance, so I will need to errand boys to do my bidding. How would the mortals feel when they see their Gods? Wouldn't they make sacrifices in their names?" Ainz smirked, revealing his plan as he looked at the humans behind Chrono.

Ainz knew what world he was in; because this world was his original one. He was in ancient times when humans just started to create civilization.

Knowing its importance, it would be foolish to let it develop on its own.

Currently, Greece is nothing but a group of small towns, slowly growing. It was the same everywhere, there were not many people alive; as if they just spawned and began to develop.

In Egypt, a social hierarchy was being assembled; meaning it won't be long before the Pharaohs are born.

The common ground between these budding nations is their belief in some kind of God.

Ainz plans to use this to his advantage, which he began some time ago. He already created Olympus and the Underworld.

He didn't randomly choose Greece, he chose it because of the interchangeability between Greek and Roman mythology.

He could conquer Earth easily. However, why should he waste his time collecting gold when he could have someone else do it for him? Plus it would be an interesting experiment to watch what people with the power of gods would do, and formulate plans to use against Dominion.

Other than the True Gods, all the other gods were man made, as they reach that stage through gathering faith and comprehensiveness Yhof the laws.

"I see." Chrono became silent as he knew from his little time with Ainz he was stubborn and wouldn't change his mind. Truthfully, he wasn't opposed to his decision as he wanted to see the result.

"Wake them up." Ainz's eyes look at the humans with curiosity. What he had planned, was it a blessing or a curse? Hmm, who cares? The benefit of Nazarick is above everything else.

Chrono complied, canceling the spell. The humans were wearing rags filled with dirt, and probably diseases.
