Kapitel 946: JIMMY’S REVELATION
At the same time, outside the forest, a man named Dess who was hesitating for a long time decided to build up enough courage and clarify the doubt which was bothering him.
He walked towards Arjun and asked, "B-Brother Jimmy! I have a question which is bothering me for a while. Could you clarify it for me?"
Jimmy looked at Dess for a while. He immediately identified this person. He might not be a big shot in the team that follows Young Master Ivan. But he was still the errand boy whom Ivan trusts the most.
Jimmy smiled and asked, "Do you know how those shadows of the Young Lord Russell's were easily killed by Master Arjun? I mean, the Dao Power was not having any effect on those shadows. So how did Master Arjun kill those shadows with such ease?"
Dess asked humbly, "This thing is bothering me to the point where it is making me restless. If Lord Jimmy knows anything, please clarify it to me."
When this question was raised, everyone looked at Jimmy with anticipation. Even though they don't know whether Jimmy know anything about it, since Jimmy is the captain of the entire team, they all believed that Jimmy might know something about the mystery behind all this.
Even the likes of William and Miller looked at Jimmy with anticipation. Even though they hate the Star Moon Team, they were still searching for the answer how Arjun was able to kill those shadows.
One should not forget that in the past, Bruce defeated those shadows with great difficulty. If it wasn't due to the Conscience Oath performed by Bruce, they could have learnt the answer directly from Bruce. But they still couldn't solve the mystery behind this.
Jimmy smiled and said, "The answer is not something complicated. It is very easy. According to Arjun what was the source power of those shadows?"
Dess thought for a moment and said, "Mental Energy! Master Arjun said that those shadows were created by a powerful cultivator know as Crawley! Crawley created these shadows using the advanced level of the Mental Energy."
"You are right." ,Jimmy maintained his warm smile and said, "And this is where your answer lied. Both Bruce in the past and today Arjun used the Mental Energy to defeat those shadows."
Jimmy's explanation was simple. But this simple answer was enough to make all the listeners speechless. The answer was very simple and yet this easy amswer didn't even strike them.
Dess asked, "Then if we mastered the Mental Energy, then we could also defeat those shadows?"
Yes." ,Jimmy replied.
"Then if we mastered the Mental Energy, then we can defeat all the Dao Masters just like the shadows of Young Master Russell did just now?"
"No." Jimmy shook his head and said.
"But why?" ,Dess asked in astonishment, "Young Master Russell's shadows remained invincible against the Dao attacks. So why can't we do the same?"
Jimmy replied casually, "Didn't you hear what Arjun said? Arjun said that the source of those shadows was that black stick within Russell's hands. The true owner of that black stick was Crawley. And Crawley had reached the Godly state in the field of the Mental Energy. So how could the power of the Dao will have any affect against the power of the God level Mental Energy? It is simply impossible."
"Then how exactly Arjun's Mental Energy was able to kill those shadows?" ,This time the one who raised this question was not Dess. But the owner of this question was actually Williams, the Sect Leader of the Silver Wolf Sect.
Jimmy replied calmly, "Even though the shadows reached the godly level, the fact that it was not originated from Russell's own power always remains the fact. That means, no matter how godly those shadows are, the fact that Russell remained on the external source will never change."
Jimmy continued, "But this is not the case with others who truly mastered the Mental Energy and could well control it. Arjun and Bruce mastered the Mental Energy and it was well within their control. And unlike Russell's shadows, their Mental Energy is their own. The Internal Power always have the upper hand compared to the person who depend on the external power. This is the theory that was applied here."
Jimmy continued, "As for why the Dao Attacks were not effective, those shadows and Arjun's Mental Energy originated from the same source. But it was not the case with the Dao Energy. It doesn't belong to the branch of Mental Energy. If Arjun fought against those shadows just by depending on the Dao, then he will well fail. Because we can't rule out the fact that those shadows had reached the Godly level."
Jimmy Continued, "But it is not the case with the Mental energy. Since those shadows and Arjun's power originated from the Mental Energy, since Russell is not the true owner of those shadows, their Mental Energy was able to fight against those shadows."
Everyone remained silent. The concept of Mental Energy was new for them. In fact, most of the people don't even know what exactly is the Mental Energy. It was not only as tough as mastering the Dao. But most of the cultivators don't even know about it's existence.
This is the world where strength rules everything. If any power that good enhances their combat abilities, then it will be the power which every person will sought after.
Even if the mental energy is powerful enough, but it does not cause any harm that could be visible to naked eye. So its existence was not very popular compared with the Dao.
After all, Dao is not only strong, but it is also something that catches the attention of the people. Moreover, it became a firm believe that without Dao, at one point, no one can make advancement in the field of cultivation. So Dao became a power which everyone sought after.
But when it comes to the topic of the Mental Energy, majority of the people don't even know about it's existence. Only the major organisations with immense power and ancient history knows about its existence.
"What kind of rubbish are you saying?" ,William was not even polite. He said, "How could you be so sure about it? What made you think that the power that killed Russell's shadows is indeed the power of the mental energy? Don't speak anything without having a conclusive proof?"
"Who said that I don't have any proof" ,Jimmy smiled and said, "The reason why you people couldn't figure out the mysterious power that killed those shadows is because you don't have the mental energy."
"So wh..." ,William wanted to defend himself. But then he saw something shocking. In fact, everyone saw this.
A beam of mysterious energy came out from the middle of Jimmy's eyebrows at the forehead level. And it gave them the similar feeling which they sensed when Russell used to summon those shadows.
