Kapitel 273: Young master Hei (III)

Five full days had passed, but there were still no signs of waking up from the young lady who was sleeping on the bed.

Although the moon in the night sky was shining ever so lightly on her bare face, it did not wake her up.

Meanwhile, a young gentleman was sitting beside her with a handkerchief in his hand. His posture was upright like one from a noble clan.

The handkerchief was submerged in cold water before being twisted to drain some of the water off. He then placed his handkerchief on her forehead before picking up a book and started reading it out loud to the sick person.

This should have been done by the young lady's maid, but the young gentleman did all of this by himself just to relieve the young lady's fever that would occur from time to time.
