Kapitel 27: Levitation? Flying?
When everything has finally finished, it's already dawn and the sky is gradually brightening up. He decided to just come out of his room to find something to test his power.
Walking toward a forest nearby, he executed a normal punch and what happened next stunned him. However, he soon has a grin on his face.
In front of him was several collapsed trees and he had only punched out without using skills. He executed each skill he knows and discovered that it's all has improved by a lot. Even the movement technique is a little bit faster and more importantly, it consumes less energy when executing.
[Yuki! When are you able to calculate my power?]
"I don't know. I'll tell you when I can."
He was about to go back when he remembers seeing that his cultivation is back to level 1.

[Yuki, why did my cultivation level back to 1? Didn't you say that I will not lose levels?] Tian Feng suddenly agitated.
"I don't know but didn't your power is stronger?"
Knowing that he won't be able to figure anything out, he walks back to find Li'er. While walking on the uneven terrain of the forest, he suddenly wants to fly over. [Yuki! How much is that Levitation?]
"250000 points."
[Unlock it]
"Ding... Obtained 1 psychic ability: Levitation."
At that moment, a series of memories appear in his mind showing him how to use the newly unlocked psychic ability. He gets a new feeling that he can freely float around.
He tries to fly up vertically. He noticed that it's consuming his soul energy but he doesn't care about little energy spending.
However, when he wants to fly forward, he looks like he wants to cry. He can only float still and he can't move forward fast like the flying that he imagine at all. It's so useless?
It was 250000 points. How can it only allow me to float like this? It's not fair. System, you tricked me!
After having a short mental breakdown, he quickly calms down. Just when he was about to give up and walk back, a strong breeze of wind blow on him and make him drift forward. At that moment, he thought of his wind movement technique.
"If I can combine it, wouldn't that mean I can move in the air?" Thinking of this, he tries to execute his movement technique.
The wind force gathers and moves his body forward just like he thought but it's different from when he moves on land. This technique is based on footwork to move fast but his footwork meant nothing in the air thus he can only move slowly and awkwardly in the air.
Nevertheless, this is hope and as long as there's improvement, he can always perfect it with practice.
If only I can step on the air like it's the ground. "Hais..." He let out a sigh after practising for almost an hour. He flies back to find Li'er now. His speed has improved dramatically after one hour practice but it's nowhere as fast as when he moves on land using Wind Movement Technique.
His first priority now is to earn more points. As long as there's enough point, he can buy a new movement technique to fuse with his old technique then he'll be able to fly faster.
Arriving in his courtyard, he saw Li'er standing in front of his room looking in a daze.
"Li'er! What are you thinking?" Tian Feng walks toward her hurriedly.
Li'er was awake from her daze by the voice and turns back, she has a look of bewilderment and asked in a surprised tone. "Tian Feng? You are Tian Feng?"
"Yeah, why? You can't recognize me anymore? We only haven't seen each other for one night." Tian Feng didn't know why she asked him like this and he didn't care much thus he just tease her the moment he got a chance.
"How can you look better in one night? What did you do last night?" She asked looking confused.
"Nothing, I was just cultivating. Come on, let's go for breakfast!"
Li'er didn't probe further and nodded. Both of them start heading to have breakfast but on the way, Tian Feng wants to experiment with his new ability, the levitation. He asks Li'er to step on his feet but Li'er didn't agree so he can only hold her hand and float upward. However, he discovered that his energy consumption is double.
Li'er, on the other hand, was shock and she couldn't help but ask him to teach her. He also wants to teach her but Yuki said that psychic ability can't be imparted. While on the topic, he asked Yuki if he could impart Li'er his cultivation technique and martial skills.
He got an affirmative answer but he needs to make her his student with system otherwise he needed to fully understand the technique and teach her manually. He didn't have enough point thus he decided to wait first.
The reason being he's not good at teaching and imparts her via the system is more effective. Li'er is a bit upset when Tian Feng told her that this can't be taught.
After breakfast, he planned to accept academy mission with Li'er. He upgraded the party function. He told Li'er that this is one of his mystic art that can connect people with each other and seeing each other life force.
He also unlocked Telepathy so that he can communicate with her in a radius of 10 kilometres. He can communicate with Qi but its range is too short, being able to transmit the message only when the target is within sight.
He's now ended up with a pitiful amount of 3000 points again.
But everything is worth it now, as long as the distance between him and Li'er didn't exceed 10 Kilometers, the party can stay on forever.
They both accept an easy mission of delivering herbs to medicine hall. Whatever mission he did, he would get a double reward, one from the academy and one from the system.
During the day, he completed 5 missions and now his points are back at 4500 points. If not for his body too small and can only accept the easy mission, he would earn a lot more points.
Now, if he completed 5 more missions tomorrow, he would fulfil the requirement of 10 missions per years.
In the evening, when he walked back, he happened to walk past the sparring hall. He glances inside a moment and saw many freshmen in there, more importantly, he saw Da Jing too.
Li'er also saw him almost at the same time. They decided to go in to have a look. Regardless of the reason, he would still have to go in to meet Da Jing who has been in closed-door training for a while.
Walking toward the arena, Da Jing also saw them. He also walking toward the duo. Before going in closed-door training, Da Jing said that he won't come out unless he has a breakthrough to the next realm.
However, looking at him now, he's still in Basic Cultivation Realm like before. But before any of them could ask, Da Jing said "Last night, after I awoke from my cultivation, I realized that I won't be able to make a breakthrough by cultivating in the room alone. I need more experiences so I come here to spar with everyone."
Hearing his explanation, they both nodded their head. They also struggle to breakthrough right now. Despite the effort they put into cultivation, there's no sign of a breakthrough at all. But that didn't explain why so many freshmen come here.
Tian Feng ask "Why have so many freshmen come here today?"
Da Jing looks like he's expecting this question and answer calmly "Apparently, a senior is fighting with a freshman. I heard that the senior is interested in a female freshman and want to chase her but unfortunately, she already has a boyfriend who is also a freshman.
The senior then challenge the boyfriend saying that he will suppress his strength to the boyfriend level. If he won, he only wants a chance to chase her but if he loses, he wouldn't bother them anymore."
Tian Feng was thinking to himself, this is the second times that both he and Li'er was left out on an event like this. Last time being the duel to choose the strongest freshmen for missions.
He turns to look at the man on stage. He's so young yet he already doing this kind of things for a girl. The couple is around 13 years old. He's not interested in watching this fight. He turned around to look for an opponent for himself.
"Da Jing! Li'er! Do you both want to have a spar too?" Tian Feng asked the two who were looking at the stage.
Li'er happily replied. "I want. I want."
Da Jing also said, "I also want to spar."
"Let's go then. Da Jing, do you want to join my party? We have me and Li'er." Tian Feng didn't forget free points at all.
"Alright! why not?" With that, he gets a new feeling of each other life force. Tian Feng then proceeds to explain about his mystic skill once again.
After the explanation, they walk toward the free stage and start challenging their seniors. In a short moment, each of them got their opponent.
However, Li'er lost almost immediately while Da Jing lasts a bit longer. There's no injury though.
