"Are you going to give up now?"
"....No....!"
"Then why are you behaving like everything's over? You're just 16, you have a lot of chances! Stop behaving like a rusty old man."
"And you're 14... Wait, why am I being comforted by a wimp like you?"
Christopher managed to laugh a little during his sniffles.
"Yeah, a junior is comforting you. Hold yourself up, we're leaving this area."
This actually caught the attention of some people. The seemingly harmless and charming youth who's aura was radiating gentleness and serenity spit sharp sentences out of his mouth like no tomorrow.
Cassey then patted Chris's wide shoulders encouragingly and sent a text to Jason.
"Good luck, we're trying out somewhere. We saw a rat lying around and Christopher's mysophobic tendencies hated this area. Well, I hate rats so we're not auditioning here."
Almost instantly Jason sent a reply back.
"Rats? Well... there is a large expanse of plains nearby so maybe... But you can't refuse GWO Entertainment company for such a silly reason, can't you?"
"Do you want more competition?"
"....."
Jason was an honest boy, but...
"You're lying, did you fail the audition?"
Cassey did not hesitate to lie.
"No, they were trying to lick my shoes, so I'm leaving."
Jason immediately called Cassey
Cassey rejected his call.
.......
"Why are you leaving me in oblivion?"
"I know you didn't fail Cassey! Your audition time is one hour later!"
"Stop lying, did Chris... fail?"
"Cassey, reply!"
"He did, so what? We're just going somewhere else."
"But then why are you leaving? Your audition starts one hour later!"
Cassey stopped reading. Why did he decide not go here? Was it on impulse? Yesterday he was really excited, but why suddenly?
He looked at Christopher who was hastily drying his tears.
Ever since he was young, his parents drilled the best values in his bones.
He can't stand prejudice.
He has an aim and he knew this company can't fulfill it.
"My aim is different"
Jason immediately replied critically.
"Then why did you try to audition here?"
"To have a dramatic past"
Jason on the other side was dumbfounded.
I like irony characters, don't you too?
Kudos and Wowzas for reading!
