The auburn-haired boy walked by the aisle, slowly repenting.
His face was now expressionless, but his eyes were empty.
He looked down clenching his jaw and clasped his fist.
He was humiliated.
He can't bear it.
Do I have no talent?
He looked down, his eyes rheumy.
-----------------
A few minutes ago.
"You are...?"
"Christopher Daniel Paul, age 16."
The boy was calm and steady. He seemed like he had prepared for it long back.
"Okay, so you rap?"
"Yes I rap, I can sing a bit too."
The judge had a critical look on his face.
The scrutinized the boy in front of him.
A well-maintained figure, with golden-white skin. It didn't look unhealthy, it just looked slightly tanned. His jawline accentuated his small mouth, while the ridges of his nose perfectly completed the brave look of the boy. His auburn hair was neatly combed, kept in a meticulously straightened fringe which covered half of his forehead.
Hmm, he has potential... but...
His face, it's the textbook handsome face. He could be groomed, but I don't see hope.
The judge narrowed his eyebrows.
"Can I start now-" The boy asked bravely.
The judge shoved his hand in the air in an aggrandized manner and told him icily.
"No, you are eliminated. Leave."
"Wait, what?" The boy had a surprised look which immediately twisted into a broken and downcast appearance.
His face quickly turned rubicund, with his ears an exaggerated scarlet.
The judge sighed but had a cold look.
"Your type is commonly found. Your persona is not that unique, so not many people might find you appealing. It's a loss for our company."
"Your appearance, it doesn't seem that unique. It's just the typical handsome face, in my opinion, you won't be able to cast a storm."
"I was kind enough to explain, now leave."
The boy looked at his eyes.
It was cold.
Instead of feeling rejected or disillusioned, at that time, the boy gritted his teeth and looked at him a determined, a ferocious expression.
"Fine."
He said and left.
At that time the judge felt an immediate sense of loss but he brushed it off. Little did he know, that this boy's face, will haunt him forever because of his prejudiced opinion.
I feel like releases will be much quicker real soon because I found a huge source of inspiration.
I thank God for that single opportunity, now I gained so much more confidence!
"For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned."
