Kapitel 32: Annoying Woman.

Regaining his conscious, Marcus opened his eyes. Everything was blurry and distorted; he wasn't able to make out any details of what's around him.

"Host, you should close your eyes. Let them settle for a few hours."

Hearing Es's advice he closed his eyes. Marcus felt his head pulsing with pain coming from his eyes. Thinking back to when it started he was glad that Es temporarily paralyzed his body.

Before he lost consciousness, all he wanted was to scoop out his eyes. It was just that painful, what he felt when he got Es was nothing in comparison.

He spent hundred energy to get the most painful experience in his life.

Was it worth it?

Yes! Even with his eyes closed, he was slowly starting to 'see' his room. And with each minute the image was only getting sharper.

Hours later when the pain was almost gone, Marcus saw everything. With no effort, he was able to see the smallest speck of dirt in his room. Nothing could hide from his sight.

Then he opened his eyes. Everything changed, his vision went crazy, in one second everything was bright in another he saw through walls.

Closing his eyes almost immediately he was stunned at the amount of information he got in that short moment.

He saw everything around him. He was even able to see his own face and his new eyes. Pitch black with no iris or whites.

But that was not all. He saw figures of people in what he thinks was infrared and x-ray.

Qi in the air looked like clouds, full of impurities. But it was everywhere, filling every inch of his room and the world around him.

Inside of his body, every muscle and bone, and every cell they were made of. As well as energy, pure and violent flowing in all of his cells. Under his heart, there was a small point of blue light, his core. It was too small to see it, even with his eyes only the light it gave of was visible to him.

Marcus wasn't surprised about what just happened. He expected something like that; it will take him some time to learn how to control his new sight.

To be exact, it took him two days. Until he gained full control over his new eyes, he only stayed in his room.

And now with a small amount of focus, he was able to control what he sees.

The only problem he had with his eyes, was their appearance. It was too unusual. Searching for a bit, he was able to find second eyelids in the shop, made especially for those eyes as they had the appearance of normal eyes.

But it required energy and a Spirit Cleansing Apple. Energy wasn't a problem, but until he finds the Spirit Cleansing Apple, he will go around with his eyes closed.

Checking his stats, Marcus felt his heart aching.

Next morning, in class he explained to Deon that his closed eyes are a part of his training and it seemed that he 'believed' it. Or just accepted that Marcus wouldn't tell him.

In class Marcus as usual sat in the back and was absorbing energy from a rod filled with lightning energy. Yesterday he ate the last fruit he had, and the pills were consumed at the very beginning.

With all classes finished Marcus wanted to walk off but was unfortunate enough to be stopped by someone. In front of him was the crazy woman from the competition.

"What is it?"

"I want to fight you!" her face filled with fighting intent.

Usually, he would accept the fight, but at the moment his energy was equal to a stage seven expert. His physical strength is barely in stage seven as well.

Using the Eternal Snake Fist, he will be able to avoid her attacks, but it would be very close. His lightning will be able to hurt her, but now he will be out of energy before her.

He knows that she won a rank nine weapon. And he will have to use Jörmungandr to defend from it.

She was at the moment superior to him in all almost all aspects.

"No." There is no way he is going to fight with such small chances of winning. It's not impossible for him to win, but there is no point to risk getting seriously hurt and delaying his practice.

Xiao Mei was getting more frustrated with every second that she is looking at this guy. First, he gives up the fight, and it was easy to figure out what for, just look at his eyes and you can easily tell that he wanted was the Hundred Eyes Flower!

She didn't know how he used it, but that's not the point! She came all the way here to challenge him, and he refused!

"Stop right there!" As Marcus was about to move past her, she stopped him again.

… She is crazy. Just pure crazy. What is wrong with her? From the looks of it, he has no choice but to fight her. If he doesn't accept she will probably just attack him here and now. Either way, he will have to fight her…
