I am revising my review thanks to popcornlol who confirmed this was completed (not hiatus, as I had thought before after finishing it). This one is a very short novel with only 101 chapters, and at the end of book, it leaves you wanting the author to tie up the loose ends. Our MC had just won the national soccer championships when he has to transfer schools. One of his old friends also decide to transfer. Anyways, the team on the new school is relatively bad, and the first part of the book is focused on shaping it up through matches to make it competitive. There's the usual trope of the pretty team manager, and the unexpected wins against public expectations. I was hoping for something like the old anime/manga "Hungry Heart" with regard to how an underdog shocks the nation, but it definitely isn't as good.

The picture has the author as "Lin Hai Ting Tao" same as another book we have at the same time (different picture) here to vote on.. we really should get multiple authors though and have total votes RESET to 0 each week on any that did not win the prior week, otherwise even horrible books will eventually get passed because their votes continually add up! anyway, the author on the cover picture says Lin Hai Ting Tao, but underneath the book in typing /text on the webpage it has someone else, named Forest Listens to the Waves. My voting was base don not reading the chapters as they have not been released here in English for me TO read, how can i then vote on things such as character development? I did give Translation Quality a 1 because the book name is not same as the typed name of author below it. but the rest I have 3, exactly average not good nor bad, since I haven't read any chapters, then not being released yet! I am not into reading a book based on soccer, BOTH of them say same soccer so PASS. Be well!

It’s a short and nice story. I feel like this could have been longer but that’s just my opinion. The ending wasn’t trash like other novels because it ends how you expect to end. It was a nice read, romance was not bad, but it is a small part so if you’re reading this for that then you will be disappointed.

Beautiful story..as a soccer player and a fan this story gave me alot of goosebumps. Kudos to the author for such a lovely story.. Wished it never ended I just need to know when the sequel will be out

Complete garbage I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The plot progresses like the writer wrote this in an examination room and just adds whatever idea that pops up in his head. The character development sucks I have yet to get a clear image of any of main characters. Certain actions /events don't connect well with the entire plot line either that or the author just forgot about that all together. All in all one star is being super generous. Don't waste your time

Woah! First time i see a sports oriented Mc on Qi..I know there are probobly a lot in here but yeah..Wow.. i hope this ones a great.story and it looks like ita about a sports i actually play.. Sports fans please vote! i dunno though if this has fantasy stuff on it or is it a "slice of life" or a chick novel? whatever..it seems interesting enough.. imma support this story and i sure hope you sports amd non sporty dudes/dudettes too! fair rating 5 gold stars for now! might change but only time will tell! peace im out!
