Raymond chuckled lightly, the outer corner of his eyes curling upward but his amusement only seemed to anger Natalie further.
"My mummy doesn't like attending meetings," he said, his tone casual, "besides, this will be a surprise for her, so technically, I am your client."
A smirk played on his lips, and Natalie's irritation grew.
She rolled her eyes subtly, sighing, "So, we're going to be seeing each other, then. Let's be professional about it." She extended her hand, expecting a formal handshake.
Raymond shook her hand, but instead of releasing his grip, he held on.
Natalie's brows furrowed, her expression stern. "Mr. Raymond, please let go of my hand."
"What's so bad about me?" he asked, his voice laced with mock innocence.
He released his grip, but his words kept coming.
"I'm well-to-do, have a great job, and to increase my aura, I come from a very respectable family."
His tone turned serious, his gaze intense.
