Kapitel 37: He smells like lemons

Jasmine had been thinking all night about Vince's offer. Joshua's betrayal affected her so much she couldn't decide if she could trust Vince or not.

'Should I trust him? Or should I not?' She kept thinking back and forth.

Her whole life was at stake, and she had to think about it seriously.

'He was the only one who had offered help,' thought Jasmine again.

While thinking about this, Felix's words travelled inside her mind. Felix said she could trust Vince. Looking back, Jasmine had worked for Vince for years, and so far Vince had been a great leader. He was wise and fair to his employees. There was never a deceit in his words.

'Well, I've known Joshua for ten years and he was kind, compassionate and loyal, too. But what happened now? It was all a lie! I really couldn't trust anybody!' Her thoughts battled within her mind.

Jasmine grumbled in annoyance and covered herself with her blanket.
