Mike and Mia woke up early, and Mike prepared a simple and healthy breakfast.
Mia, wearing one of Mike's large t-shirts, playfully tugged at the hem.
Mike, dressed in gym clothes, showcased his well-proportioned and muscular body.
"Hi!" With a warm smile, he greeted Mia, his voice carrying genuine warmth.
"How did you sleep last night?" he asked.
"Very good! Thank you," Mia replied.
"I think you should move here. I'll help you find an apartment in this building. It's too dangerous for you to live in your previous place. After all, Dom has caused a lot of trouble this time. If you run into any problems, at least I can help you here," Mike suggested.
"Yeah, sure, why not!" Mia agreed readily, not pretending or hesitating.
"By the way Would you like to join our Frankenstein Gym?" Mike asked playfully.
"What? The Frankenstein Gym,?" Mia realized who he was referring to.
"Yeah, THOSE Frankenstein people." Mike clarified.
"Of course! I think they're different, and being with them gives me a special sense of freshness." Mia found it interesting and novel to be surrounded by this group of kind Frankensteins, especially since most of her childhood friends were from the streets.
After breakfast, Mia put on a well-fitting gym outfit, and they headed to the usual training place.
Mike looked at the team members, who were gradually getting used to the routine, and felt that this was half the battle.
He believed that this group of people would eventually bring Mia some wisdom.
Seeing Mia and Mike appear together in their workout attire, the group members made annoyed remarks, especially Howard, who was as obscene as possible.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't our very own fitness couple," Howard teased, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I hope you two have enough energy left after all the wink exercising you're doing together."
A mischievous smile played on Mike's lips as he retorted to Howard's comment. "Oh Howard, you always know how to make the atmosphere lively. How about this? I'll make the exercises harder just for you. That way, you can work off all that extra energy from your...colorful remarks." He winked, teasingly adding, "Consider it my gift to you."
Howard, realizing the disapproving looks from everyone, sheepishly hid behind Leonard, feeling the weight of their judgment upon him.
Penny couldn't help but ask, "Why did you show up together?"
"Mia's brother had something to take care of, so I'm helping Mia. In the afternoon, we'll see if there are any vacant apartments for rent in our building," Mike explained.
"Oh!" Penny's frowning eyebrows relaxed, and her tense expression melted away.
However, there was still a hint of vague hostility from Penny towards Mia.
Howard and Leonard looked at Mike with admiration.
They had known that Mike was on a different level when it came to picking up girls, but now, seeing the beautiful Mia, they realized that Mike's rizz wasn't just on a different level—it was on an entirely different universe. Bro is HIM.
"Then let's start today's workout," Mike announced and began leading the exercises.
After weeks of training, the scientists had made significant progress in terms of energy and spirit.
For Mia, the workouts were a breeze, so she trained alongside Mike, challenging herself with more difficult movements like diamond push-ups with Mike.
The atmosphere among the scientists turned awkward and embarrassed. They couldn't help but reflect on their own physical condition and compare themselves to Mia, who effortlessly performed diamond push-ups.
Mike looked at Mia with a different perspective. He realized that with her protagonist-level skills, Mia's physical fitness would undoubtedly be exceptional.
Mia also added flexibility training to further improve her physical condition.
Mike seized the opportunity and said to the science group, "You should feel embarrassed when you see your own physical condition. Work harder people."
As for Mike, his body was undoubtedly the best and most balanced.
With his ten-human-limit physique and strength, he had an advantage over everyone else.
This embarrassment and challenge sparked a newfound motivation in the science group, and their overall exercise completion rate improved significantly.
Mia, like a spark, pushed the group of sports rookies forward.
After their workout, they returned to the apartment, freshened up, and then headed to Mia's place to retrieve some clothes.
In the car, Mike asked Mia, "Do you have any plans for today?"
"No, I can't stay in the garage anymore," Mia replied.
"Yeah, it's better to avoid the garage these days. How about we hang out with the science group today? I'll bring some computers, and we can play computer games together," Mike suggested, knowing that the science group played computer games on that day of the week.
"Computer games?" Mia wasn't familiar with them, as she and her friends had never had much interest in games due to their impoverished backgrounds. "Sure, I'll give it a try. You can teach me later."
Mia added, "Seems like I'll be following you around for a while."
"Okay, no problem. Spending time with them can be simple and interesting. You might even become carefree if you stay with them for a while," Mike said, both of them smiling.
Mike went home to grab two computers and then they headed to the Big Bang Theory apartment.
Upon catching sight of the laptops in Mike's hands, the group's faces contorted with clear disgust.
Sheldon, unable to suppress his typical bluntness, interjected with a touch of superiority, "Your computers, dear sir, are nothing short of a woeful assemblage of substandard technology. In short, it's complete rubbish."
Mike couldn't help but feel a surge of competitiveness and thought, "If I beat you using these "rubbish" computers, how about you promise me three things? Of course, nothing against the law or moral standards."
"No problem. You're on!" Sheldon agreed confidently.
Mia looked at Mike suspiciously, wondering if he was secretly skilled at playing games.
Soon, the doorbell rang, and Penny stood at the door, curious about the scene inside. She asked, "What are you doing?"
"We're playing computer games," Leonard replied.
"Okay, carry on!" Penny said and left since she had no interest in games at the moment.
Mike knew that Penny had exceptional talent in computer games, and he saw an opportunity for her to use her skills to make money.
"If you're interested, you can give it a try," Mike suggested to Penny.
Leonard also saw this as an opportunity and said, "You can sit next to me and learn."
At this point, Penny felt like she had nothing else to do, so she sat down and watched.
Soon, Mike's triumphant laughter filled the room, while Sheldon's face darkened. He stared at Mike with his bell-like eyes.
Mike smiled and held up three fingers, saying, "Three things."
Leonard and the others looked at Mike in surprise.
They had underestimated Mike's gaming abilities, considering he appeared to know little about computers.
I mean someone who's built like Goliath should have muscles for brains.
The outcome was far from their expectations.
Mike then looked at Penny, who was eager to give it a try, and proposed another challenge to Sheldon, saying, "I'll give you another chance. If Penny beats you, you promise me three more things. If not, we'll cancel the previous agreement. Deal?"
Sheldon's expression darkened, and with a helpless expression, he agreed, "Okay, deal!"
Sheldon couldn't help but feel frustrated. Was Mike intentionally trying to humiliate him? After all, Penny was clearly a novice.
Little did Sheldon know that an even bigger trap awaited him.
Mia and Penny exchanged curious glances as they observed the unfolding scene.
This was clearly a game that Mike should have lost, so why was he still gambling on it?
