Kapitel 139: Chapter 139: Red jade (2)
Perseus POV
I fought with Cat for quite a while, Ares went to apparent brainwash away from the sight since even the enforcer clan came to check upon the large cluster of mana.
As I fought her, 'Silver storm' has been decimating the enemies till there were none left apart from the 2 of us in the vicinity. I am overpowering Cat as she went all out.
My hit connected each and every time, but I noticed that she is barely dressed under the armor, just plain underwear with nothing else, because I can notice her skin being visible through the crack of her armor and even her underwear.
We fought and I couldn't get a good enough hit to hit the jade that is very suffocating her and she is only kept alive by her own healing, it took a while but I manage to knee her in the gut and deliver a strike with my fist too which cause her to almost lose the jade that she kept by biting it in her mouth where I then slap her back as hard as I could till it is out.

Since I broke her armor and I can see parts of her undergarments being destroyed, I took some of my smaller clothing that is left in my spatial storage, she's about my sister's size, Diana sometimes even wear my current clothing anyway, so it fitted fine, it is a very awkward experience putting clothes on somewhere like her. I then quickly gathered every possible red jade in the area.
"Stay here for a wile before ya go back." Ares said "I can see the other running back to your supposed meeting spot or something, they're questioning what's taking you so long and should be heading to us in a couple minutes."
"Alright, I'll be straightforward then, how do know that these red jades are replicas of the fragments? Seen them or inferior ones before?"
"Nope." he shook his head "but I am more than old enough to know the original one and that one resembled it, the explosion that is cause right before she came was the biggest piece of it, it spread the range covering this whole thing, would have subdued your powers, but they got this gadget that helped it spread that far, which is now destroyed to prevent you getting it."
"Shouldn't you guys help? I thought you were after the creator of the original one or something, if this is new, shouldn't you be scared?"
"The others are, you know me, I don't care." he shrugged "I live for fights and war, it's any race's nature to have greed and selfishness, war is inevitable."
"Anyway, I contacted you to just want to know a list of powers involving the eyes, apparently just looking into the eyes will like charm them into some slave like state where they can only admire them, jade green colored, ring any bells?"
"Wait...describe it again." he now have a slight panicked look
I had Marella wrote what she saw in full on a note where I now handed it to Ares who read it all...
"Shit, I know who is behind the jade eyes...but they can't be the creator of the jade, it's impossible."
"They, singular or plural? If it's just one person, why not tell me or at least the gender?"
"I can't, but...you'll find out soon enough, I'll report this to someone I can trust, you shut up about me knowing this apart from your sister, but you can tell everyone else about the fact that the jade eyes and the creator are different people, shit, I know exactly who this is!" he cursed "I'll contact you later, I need to go."

I then waited on the spot till the others get here as I limit my powers again, I'm going to divide the red jade up to keep between me, Mirage Legion and the human law enforcements.
I picked up of the destroyed pieces that came from the largest jade piece, it seems that some don't exist anymore along with the gadget that spreads its range. It didn't take long till Alice and Arlon arrived fully equipped in their armor, Alice even brought her signature SSS ranked shotgun along.
"How the hell did you beat her up, she's stronger than me." Arlon exclaimed "What the hell happened?"
I then told them about most of what happened, I then handed them both 2 pieces of the red jade each. Maybe the big piece of jade was what interrupted the system earlier, because I can open the system now. But the small ones sure enough subdued the powers of the 2.
"How did you beat her if your powers can be subdued? What did you do to be immune?" Alice asked
As the both of them put it in their spatial ring, the effects went away.
"My teacher is the 'Weaver of Calamity', remember? Don't know what he did to me, but it seemed to help, the pause between her attacks also helped. Any let's head back, I need to examine this red jade...keep this to yourselves, if such a stone is known to exist, the leader of each races won't waste resources trying to get any of us to work for em."

I head back and messaged Etha so he can deliver it to Rex, when he inspected it, he got his powers subdued too. He had to excuse himself from his duties which the king was more than happy to let him go which affected him a bit, cuz his face shows it unlike his usual stern one.
"Why are we letting the law enforcement have this?" he asked
"We need more heads trying to figure out this thing, Rex is smart, but he's one guy who's too thirsty to share his stuff sometimes, so that's why."
"Fair enough, but I'm keeping one of these for myself in case I have to take the green one off the king." he replied

I gave the stone to my sister and sure enough, she too is immune to its effects, but how does the one in Cat's throat not subdue her powers, how do they activate it into a form of mind control?
"So you dressed up her naked body?" Diana asked
"That's the important part? I used water magic to wash her up too."
"I'm not happy about that, but I'll give a good portion of it to the law enforcement in your stead, we'll keep the others to figure this thing out ourselves."
