Kapitel 60: Caught kissing without any mistletoe

Andrew was worried that they would have left the dining room in the time that the two of them had been chatting, but that wasn't the case. The six remaining members of the family sat at a mostly cleared table, waiting for the two of them to return. 

Andrew hesitated slightly, until Ben wrapped his arm around Andrew's shoulder, tugging him into the room. 

"We've talked out our differences, and everyone will be happy to know that Dr. Knox will consider Father's help." Andrew tossed a confused, almost betrayed look in Ben's direction, but the other man was grinning. Maxwell's Father's expression softened. 

"Well thank goodness. I would have been quite upset if he kept rejecting it." Andrew blinked. They were behaving as if he had already accepted it! 

Snorting, Andrew burst into laughter before wrapping his arm around Ben's shoulder with a grin of his own.
