"Wait what?!" Qi Xuan was so shocked that he couldn't speak for a while. After frowning for a moment, he asked, "Are you certain?"

Qi Jingguo clicked his tongue. "Wasn't he working directly under you? How come you didn't know?"

Since he was sentenced to death, he was shifted to the place where critical and the most dangerous criminals were usually placed with an enchantment to stop them from escaping. That enchantment would also suck away their cultivation, not letting them use their powers anymore inside the prison.

When they came, Qi Jingguo raised his hand and said, "I'll go alone."

The marshal only glanced at the soldier behind, coldly shutting the latter up.
