He was so focused and serious.
The story was short. But Stuart took a long time to analyze it. Edie was quite energetic at the beginning. But she soon got sleepy.
As Stuart finished one story and was about to tell the next one, Edie stopped him immediately.
"No. Don't read. Stop, okay. I am so sleepy now."
"What? You don't like it?" Stuart asked her in shock.
"You would be a perfect teacher."
"You are admiring me, right?" Stuart didn't get Edie's point. He thought she was admiring him. He couldn't help himself raising her eyebrows slightly. At the moment, he looked really proud.
Edie held her forehead, helplessly, "Stop reading. Talk with me, okay?"
"Okay, since you don't like it. What do you want to hear? I can say all to you, sincerely."
"So glib. Since when have you changed?" Edie said unsatisfactorily.
"I only say those words to you."
