Chapter 9: I'm Fine
My heart starts beating fast as the bus enters Seoul. All memories coming back. Some good ones, some bad ones. Eun Ji notices the changes in my facial expressions. She holds my hand. "It's alright Y/N. You'll be fine. It's just one week, then we'll be out of here", she said to me with a soft smile. I smiled back. "Cheer Up ladies!! We have reached." Heo Jun says patting our heads.
We get off the bus. I look around. Take deep breath and say "No, Not today!" (a.n. random af idk just) and start walking with Eun Ji and Heo Jun. We check out the location of our hotel, the place where we will be staying and where our Workshop will be held, on the GPS. Catch a taxi and get there. "Wow! I just love how amazing hotels in Seoul are", Heo Jun says.
We check in. It's late, so we quickly grab some dinner and go to sleep. Next morning we wake to get ready for the workshop. "Damn, I didn't expect to go on for 3 hours! Reason why I hate workshops the most. They make me question my career choices. And we have to bare this for 5 more days! Uhh my head hurts already", a frustrated Eun Ji says. Heo Jun and I laugh at her frustration.
"Two days passed by. Am glad they went smooth. Considering the fact that I didn't have to leave the hotel much" I say to myself, lying down on the bed. "Come on Y/N, get ready quick! We going out for brunch! We are really bored lets go around a bit!" Eun JI says while getting ready. "You guys carry on I say. I want to sleep all day today since there is no workshop today. Also am not interested in going around. Bring me some good food on your way back. Thanks love ya!" I say. To which she gives me an annoyed look, but decides not to argue with me as she knows I would win anyways. Heo Jun comes to our room, both of them leave.
After sleeping for like two more hours, I decide to wake up. I take a quick bath go to the hotel garden for a walk, to grab some fresh air. The garden is really beautiful. With a lot of flowers. I walk around looking at all of them. I sit on a bench nearby. There are not many people in the garden. Just few here and there admiring the beauty of the place. It feels good, peaceful, and fresh just like in Seulogiri. I close my eyes and start humming. Suddenly, I am disturbed by a man talking loudly on the phone. Sitting on the bench beside my bench. I decide to ignore and continue humming.
After a while I can't hear him talk anymore. The sudden silence makes me open my eyes, just to see the man standing right in front of me. I quickly stand up surprised. "What do you think you are doing?" I ask him. "Please continue singing. Please I want to hear more" he says to me. "What? Why? Why should I?" I ask him completely confused. "Please! Just for once" he says. I don't know why but I listen to him and continue. He shuts his eyes and listens to me carefully. I feel extremely awkward so I stop after singing a few lines. "That's it! Your voice is perfect" he says. And looks at me. He sees my confused af face and laughs. "Am sorry for surprising you this way. Here" he pulls out a card from his pocket and gives it to me. I take a look at it. 'Producer Lee- M.S. Entertainment' it says.
