I like it. The Mc is very smart and logical. His scientific approach to his changes is very refreshing as well and gives it a hint of realism. Other characters are well written and unique. There are no chinese cliches or face slapping as well. The translation is decent enough. Sometimes inconsistent naming and the occasional wrongly used pronounce, but that's not that much of an issue. It's still perfectly readable. Overall, I would recommend it.
This is an entertaining novel where the MC wakes up one day and finds himself similar to a vampire. Instead of going out to slap faces, he hides and documents himself like a scientist. The story does veer away from the vampire aspect and into more like mutant abilities. The first 300 chapters are focusing on psychic related abilities of long distance sensing etc. There isn't a lot of action and the documentation/explanation of powers does get boring after a while. It's almost like reading a diary of him droning on and on about stuff. But overall, this novel is a hidden gem and fun to read.
while good on most, if not all other fronts, new readers, be aware that there are many inconsistent names and genders in this book. proofreader probably didn't do their job or doesn't exist. it's still a fun read if you ignore that, though.
This is a really good novel but beware it's not for all. The pace of the novel is slow, and while there is action and fights they're not the focus of the story, the majority of the chapters are about the exploration of the mc powers and his new approch to his friends. All in all it's good stuff !

I like this story. I think it could be improved by adding more vampire elements into the story. And I think it would be cool if mc lived in grave yard if I became a vampire I would. This is a good story and I strongly recommend it.

slice of life vampire story, out of shape 30 year old computer tech, gets wasted after losing his job, wakes up and finds out he's less human, and every time he consumes blood he hibernates and transforms more, from out of shape slob to one punch man, bald and with super human strength it's a slice of life book, talking about the blind date his friend sets him up with and the hijinks his new vampire senses and skills bring. there is a guy with a knife attacking his ex girlfriend, flying kick, one punch!
So far the story has been great! I really like how the MC is recording all of the changes in his body and properly analysing the changes using a scientific and mathematical basis. (kinda like Mendel's punnet square) I really want this series to be continued as this is quite fun. Obviously I don't know if the quality will drop later as I've only read 60 chapters but so far it has been a promising read

This is amazing I couldn’t continue reading past chapter 60 as the updates stopped. It was upsetting when this book wasn’t chosen. I loved the idea and the main character although I am unsure I how it would’ve developed further on it was very good to read. I avoid rereading due to the fact I know it will not be continued however, if you wish to read something to pass time and don’t care too much about it being dropped then please read it as it is a very good novel.

If I were to be honest, this was one of the best novels I had read, and even if it was 4 months ago I still remember the storylone of this novel, which I rarely do on others so Webnovel, Please, bring this novel back to your list.

Great novel, but there aren't more than 60 chapters as of now. It's been 5 months since the last release, but people should nonetheless check this one out in the hope of further releases.
I have being reading for a while and that is one of the few novels that i just havent found anything bad to say about. So far very good reading!
This novel has potential but it is slow. I don't see a goal and the chapters feel random. It would be better with the mc having a long term goal.

As of 60 chapters the MC seems like a rational intelligent guy who thinks things through, other characters are a little bland but thats mostly cause the author is focusing on MC's growth, exploration and discovery on his body and why this has happened to him.
A reality based vampire novel. Very interesting. Although the story progression might seem a little slow, I think it is alright. The MC is very cool and level headed. I hope this one gets chosen.

Great Novel but I'm wondering if the author has gone on break or has decided to discontinue the novel. The setting and idea are great, the mc is not mentally deficient and I find it a good quick read.
I really enjoy the perspective of this novel. I thoroughly enjoy someone taking a scientific approach to the supernatural. I hope this novel gets picked up as I would love to read more.
I really love the way the story is not rushed, it lets the reader see things in a completely different way unlike how they do in other novels. The whole documenting part of it is what I find interesting because it would not be easy to do that and if it was to be a real life situation it is something that is more probable as an outcome when going through the process I believe this is one of the best books I've read so far
I stalled by chapter 275. I loved the story and MC, but the fillers just make it unbearable. So we have an in-depth story into a guy vampire (or at least what seems like it), and this guy is not braindead, he's smart and grounded to reality, he looks into the scientific way (making hypothesis, testing, getting clues... etc). MC is levelheaded. The side characters are interesting, though still within the limits of Chinese novels style (praising MC, going wow, or other things). Development and pace is where it's problematic. The story has a main development (which is being a vampire and how he goes through it) and then we have the side developments which I would call fillers. Main development is good, but side fillers slowly start taking over the majority of the story. by Chapter 200 it got increasingly dull. It became a story about a talented dude and his friends singing his praises. The pace is slow, but that's alright with how MC goes through the gritty details of each blood drinking cycle, it's actually good since that's what hooked me. But now that slow pace is being used on filler side stories that aren't adding anything to the main development. I would say it's a slice of life type of story now.
