Chapter 5: Chapter 4: School with variance
"Hey you keep driving like that you'll fuck the car up your first day" I said, laughing as she messed up a few gears.
"I'm trying devin, uhhh I got us here didnt I?" Bella said, pulling into school while the truck stuttered.
"Barely, but you'll get better I know it" I said, rubbing her head.
"Alright, I get it I'll try to not kill us" Bella said, laughing at my head pats.
"Well let's go, time to try and fit in at this downcast place" I said, smiling while my canines showed.
"I just want to make it through the day" Bella said, opening the door and getting down.
"Yeah awkwardly as always" I said getting down and grabbing her bag, moving around the car and giving it to her.
"Thanks, devin" Bella said, walking out infront of me while I just shook my head.
"This girl" I said, walking a good bit behind her, looking at the people stare at me. My size and clothes while I gave a slight smirk.
Watching as a jock looking guy and the rest of his friends laughed lowly at the truck.
"Nice ride" the guy said, looking at Bella and up at me.
"sarcasm first day of school, from a guy me or you will never care about, fitting"'I said looking at the kid.
"What did you say man" the guy leaned forward to me.
"A that is irrelevant, insignificant i could go on but what would be the point" I said, looking down at him.
"Say that shit again" the jock said trying to push me, not moving me at all.
"Go back to laughing with your Circus ring" I said, pushing him back with one hand, he fell back into his car.
The boy looked at his friends who laughed and just grabbed his bag.
"Enough devin, it's not worth it" Bella said, watching the boy walk to his jock friends.
Looking over at a group of pale kids who just looked at me, then at Bella before turning back to there conversation. I smiled at the blonde who kept looking as she shot her head back to the group.
Looking to Bella I saw a short long haired who kept a Constant smile. Listening to him talk to the awkward Bella.
"I'm Eric, I'm the eyes and ears of this place" Eric said, way to happy.
"Oh, I'm Bella, this is my older brother devin" Bella said, moving away from the boy.
"Older brother, ohhhh, what's up ummmmm big guy" Eric said, turning around to see me standing over him.
"Well I think mrs. Smooth here can help you I'm going to get going" I said with a laugh at how weird the boy was.
"Devin" Bella said in a low, not wanting me to leave.
Not really going to class, being stuck at a computer all day, the teacher said they wanted to "reevaluate" my placement in school, I'm guessing being smart and good at sports doesnt happen around here. Passing the test like they were nothing was boring so I took my time. Trying to drag it out a little before lunch then finish and get to class.
When the bell rang, I stood up and walked to the door. Walking pass the teach who was sitting at the desk, he looked at me as I smiled but then turned by to her book.
Walking through the halls I turned into the cafeteria, hearing people stop talking and look at me for a second, seeing Bella sitting with her "friends".
"Oh my god, who is that?" The girl Jessica said.
"Oh you didn't hear about the handsome giant from this morning?" Eric said, looking over at me.
"I haven't either, who is he" Angela said, putting her camera down.
"It's just my brother, devin" Bella said, looking at them stare at me.
"Well I'm sorry, your brother is hot" Jessica said, looking me up and down as I walked over.
"I can't lie, he eye candy for girls around here" Angela said, looking down at her camera.
"Eww, I get it but it's my brother" Bella said, trying to get them to stop.
"He play sports, he is, you know, umm tall" mike said, feeling a little inferior.
"No I don't, well not anymore, what's up little sis" I said, walking pass her grabbing her apple, patting her head and smiling.
"Cut it out devin" Bella said, having a actual laugh.
"Yeah he is up there with the Cullens" Jessica said watching me walk to a table by myself.
"The Cullens" Bella said, confused.
"Them" Angela said, looking over at the kids who walked up to the side door.
Bella watched as they walked in, I pulled out my phone not really minding until I saw them all sit at the table I was at, looking up from my phone I saw a short haired girl, with a smile.
"Well this isn't awkward at all, well I'm devin, may I know who is the one staring at me" I said, smiling at the girl.
"Hey! I'm Alice, nice to meet you devin" Alice said, smiling, tilting her head.
"Nice to meet you Alice Cullen " I said, reaching up and itachi flicking her forehead.
"This is my boyfriend Jasper, his sister Rosalie, the big one is my brother Emmett, his girlfriend Kelly" Alice said pointing them out.
"What about the one who is staring at my sister like she is food" I said to Alice, then over to emo boy.
"Your sister? That's my brother Edward" Alice said, laughing at me.
"Sorry, your sister is strange" Edward said, looking at me.
"So your saying my sister strange, looking at her with stalker eyes isn't" I said, laughing which made Rosalie and the rest giggle or laugh.
"Your a strange one to, im not a stalker" Edward said looking at my face.
"I understand you can't talk to girls I get it, I know I'm handsome but please keep your eyes to yourself" I said, smirking at him.
"Ahhh, it's not, never mind" Edward said, looking at with a suspicious look.
"Your funny, don't mind Edward that's just how he is" Emmett said, hugging Kelly.
"I get it, seriously instead of stalker eying my sister you could go say hi" I said, looking at Rosalie who kept staring at me.
"I like you, I can tell will be best friends" Alice said, trying to do the itachi poke to Jasper.
"Yeah, I can see that but umm Rosalie right?, don't tell me your like Edward" I said laughing and smiled at her.
"No, no I have to go do something" Rosalie tried to say.
"What a shame, something about you....never mind, I guess see you later frumoasa" I said, seeing Rosalie face change.
"You, wait no, nevermind" Rosalie said, trying to remember something.
"You playing any sports, honestly bro your huge" Emmett said.
"Forgive my boyfriend he can be a little pushy" Kelly said, finally done hugging emmett.
"Do you fight?" Jasper said, though his face wasn't in pain.
"No problem, Not really and well not any more. your the 3rd person to as me that I don't think I'll play sports this year" I said, looking At Rosalie still.
"Now who's the one with stalker eyes" Alice said giggling, understand and happy Jasper looked comfortable.
"I will not deny it, just met and all but I'm taking you to dinner" I said standing and tapping Rosalie forehead, she froze.
"What just happened?" Rosalie said, looking around when I was gone.
"Ahhhhh!, you got a date!" Alice said, happy.
"A date, I know you say he is my mate but huh?" Rosalie asked confused.
"Dude works fast, right babe" Kelly said, leaning on Emmett.
"Yeah, honestly didn't see that coming" Emmett said laughing.
"I understand we're happy for Rosalie, anyone want to explain why Alice didn't see him coming until he looked at her and why I can't red him or his sister" Edward said, still looking a Bella.
"Worry about that later! Rosalie, looks like you'll get to know him already" Alice said, holding Rosalies hands.
"....." Rosalie went silent looking at my back as I leaned over to talk to Bella, seeing me turn my head back and wink at her.
