Chapter 37: Chapter Thirty-Six: Finding information about the attack

On the way back, I saw Beatrix who happens to be a guard going into the woods. I snuck in there, behind her without drawing any attention back to me. A old woman approached her and said, "What were you thinking? Did you think the attack was going to be suspicious to them?" Beatrix said, "I can't help it, he's my mate and I can't do anything to stop him. If he wasn't my mate, I would take him out Mother!" I opened my mind-link to the guys and said, "Follow my scent into the woods right now." I walked out from behind a bush and grabbed Beatrix by her arms. She struggled to get away, but I help my grip. I said, "Stop right now lady or you'll face the consequences." Her mom stopped and walked back towards me. Wayne and Twan appeared with Connor and Preston. Conner grabbed Beatrix and Preston took hold of the woman's arm. I said, "Who is your mate Beatrix and why did he send the rogues to attack the pack?" She replied, "My mate's name is Trenton Kale and he sent the rogues in attempt to kill y'all to gain power for when the Lycan Queen shows her face." I said, "Does he even know who the Lycan Queen is and who her siblings are?" She replied, "No he doesn't." I started laughing and Beatrix got confused. I said, "Her name is Ava Carter and she's my sister." She replied, "I didn't want to be apart of this, but he made me. I can't control myself when I'm around him and I also can't do anything against his orders. I'm sorry and I wish it was simple to reject someone." I replied, "If you tell us where he is then I'll let you live. I can help you with the pain after rejecting him. There's a serum for people to get after something like rejection happens." She replied, "He is at the Darkwood Inns near the mall and I would like to reject him before you kill him." Wayne and Twan quickly told the pack warriors to get ready and head down to the border in cars.
