Amid Zhao Guifang's shrill curses, Chi Yu commanded the servants to throw out all of Zhao Guifang and Wen Song's belongings from the Chi residence.

She paid no attention to Zhao Guifang's loud outburst on the street. Once the gates were closed, she calmly went upstairs for a bath. 

Zhao Guifang, that old hag, had pretended not to understand Chi Yu's previous warnings, treating her words like air.

Since that was the case, Chi Yu saw no reason to keep up any pretense of civility.

Let Zhao scream and shout all she wanted—there would be no police coming to meddle in this area, only onlookers to witness the drama. 

If things escalated to the point where all ties were severed, so be it. Chi Yu was fully prepared to declare an end to the relationship between the Zhao and Wen families.

And if Zhao Guifang dared to show up at her door again, Chi Yu would have her chased away like a stray dog.
