Jing Cheng removed his hand on Jing Bai's mouth and Jing Bai sucked a deep breath. "You are right, da ge. I remember now – " he said as he turned and looked at Jing Hei and Qian Lin crossing the swinging bridge and now in the middle of it where it was the lowest point it could sink.
The knotted vines that are holding the bridge on both ends are creaking as it swung, creating an ominous sound that make one's go cold and their feet feel cold. Added to the fact that the wooden planks that have aged for who knows how long, for every step you take, you don't know when they will give in and break.
Jing Bai felt the goosebumps appeared on his skin and his heart thudded loudly as he watched Jing Hei and Qian Lin with trepidation when they stopped at the middle of the bridge as if they were taking a break. "What the hell are they doing?!" he hissed as he stood from where he is.
