Chapter 89: You can't kiss me

Jane Chu chuckled and gestured Mo Yuan to come to her. Like an obedient boy, Mo Yuan walked over to her and plopped down on her knees. He then glared at DX as if daring him to say one more word about his "Aunt Jane". 

Jane laughed softly as she patted the boy's head. "Yuan Yuan, thanks for protecting me, but Uncle XiAn is just playing with me..."

"Yuan Yuan protects Aunt Jane... Daddy says so," Mo Yuan said with a serious expression before he wrapped his arms around Jane Chu's neck. "Aunt Jane smells nice... like Mummy when she's happy."

There was a hint of sadness in his voice that did not go unnoticed by the adults. Jane Chu smiled and hugged Mo Yuan tighter as she whispered, "You smell nice too, Yuan Yuan..."
