Chapter 149: The baby is missing

"Oh my god… It's happening…" Rachel suddenly grabbed onto the wall with her right hand, and her left reached for Iris' arm. At first, Iris didn't understand what her sister meant when she said those words, but when she saw what Rachel's gaze was fixed on, she got the response without even asking.

A small patch of water could be seen on the floor. Rachel's water broke.

"W… What do I do, Rachel? Where should I take you?" Iris asked, looking anxious. They just exited Cyrina's VIP ward, and the corridor seemed abandoned, as no one else was there apart from them.

The VIP areas usually had dedicated caregivers, and the other rooms might have their nurses stationed in their rooms. It was quite rare to spot nurses strolling the corridors of the VIP floor unless they had to change their supplies. Even that was usually done by other nurses who delivered the needed items to their colleagues stationed in the rooms. The VIP and VVIP wards offered twenty-four-seven care.
