Chapter 98: Chapter 84 - Truth or Lies

Dungeons and Gates.

Creations unknown, truths hidden beyond the veil of time or reason.

Dungeons were those Gates that had grown strong enough through the consumption of the vitality of the world, tainting everything in corruption, to call upon a special Nightmare, to come and take it's hand in destruction.

Dungeons served as Light houses in the dark void between the Living World and whatever that hellish Underworld that held those monstrosities was, leading them to this place, this world, to wreak havoc against all life.

Gates were far simpler.

Their truth too was unknown. But they were far more volatile than Dungeons, which were led by a single entity, protected by it's Kin, Gates would flood into the surroundings with no end of corruption and nightmares, never closing, similar to an open wound they would bleed over endlessly until the core was shattered.
