"He's carrying her. I don't know." Powder.
"Ahh... those eyes, the poor thing." Skin.
"Do we have any ice-cream left?" Roses.
"...Maybe...?" Lashes.
Chattering blew through the hall between the countless Courtesans, watching their every move.
Eida stayed two steps behind Argo, and the girl in his arms. She held her hand in front of her like a noble would in front of these women whose eyes watched behind their beautiful well prepared forms.
The moment they entered every color they had seen outside had changed completely. She was still getting her feet under her because of it. Though neither Argo nor the girl appeared effected at all.

I rewrote this chapter no fewer than four times. Honestly, I just couldn't find a way to write this in a way that was satisfying, and seeing as these are now paid for, I refused to upload something good just to fit the timeline.
