Chapter 71: Chapter 57 - Ripple

"...Of course it is," Along a long exhaling breath, thin sheets of paper fell carelessly to the watery floor of the bath room, he leaned his head back in the large bath, looking to the ceiling as he soaked in the hot water, steam rising all around, his voice lowered to a whisper as his closed eyelids twitched, he rubbed his temple trying to think, "Why wouldn't it be?"

The Sparrow had gone missing.

The very Sparrow that he had intended on meeting, in order to get in touch with the Treant.

But he was a month late.

Who in their right minds in this industry would wait so long? They likely assumed he was dead. 

Though the Treant stood at the apex of Hacuray's Underworld, second in influence only to the King, he still had many enemies, perhaps more so for it.

Those who could contact him, were few and far between.

And now his link was missing.

There would be no way to find the Sparrow, if one didn't have a prior arrangement, either.
